Not the best weather but the accommodation made it even more enjoyable. Cosy inside and lovely outlook. Very quiet, birdsong and animal sounds. Just the place I needed. Owner was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions on things to do and where to go. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Taranaki slice of heaven!

My stay at Lydford Place was absolutely fantastic. The space was spotlessly clean and warm, making it instantly comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area, offering great local tips. They were also very accommodating when I had to make changes due to the weather. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for place to stay.

2 nights in New Plymouth

First time staying in New Plymouth as a couple and were apprehensive about staying in a place that wasn’t a motel. Couldn’t have been more impressed. Excellent communication, friendliness and key handover. Comfortable bed, outdoor bath and even a hammock! Felt like our own private nest with everything we needed. Beautiful House in central location

A great house, so central to restaurants and the Coastal walkway. Very comfortable modern, generous furniture and plenty of space for our family to hang out together for meals and games or to find individual spaces to relax. Great communication from Brett. We really enjoyed our stay.
