Really love this place! This is our second time staying in this house, but different owners this time. The house is so convenient, has everything you need and super close to the shops! Such a great stay!

Love our visit to Whangamata and the property is great for chilling in with plenty of seating choices we wish we could have spent more time! Prob needs a fan or 2 upstairs as got a little hot but thats summer right. Thanks for the stay.

We were welcomed by Gordon and his lovely wife with some freshly baked cookies and a very warm welcome.
The property is absolutely stunning and makes you feel like you're far away from everything with the sound of the river flowing, bird song and surrounded by lush bush, the best part is town is only a 5 min drive away.
If you are looking for a place to ground yourself and unwind from city life this is the place to go, it's only a cruisy 3 hour drive from Auckland and the scenery only gets better the closer you get.
The cottage is cosy, warm and kitted out with everything you need with cooking facilities, BBQ and super comfy bed.
They even went the extra mile with some complimentary beverages not to mention the delicious warm cookies (we turned up just at the right time).
We highly recommend staying here 😊 treat yourself!

We stayed at this wonderful bach for 2 weeks with our children. The house is in a hill with an absolutely incredible view of the water that can be seen from the lounge windows and the main bedroom - very calming. The house itself was well equipped and very comfy, just very easy and we made it through the cyclone in full comfort but enjoyed the days of sunshine more.
Onemana is a very pretty beach town and it’s proximity to Whangamata meant that other beach and food options were in easy reach.
All in all a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend this bach.
