Haumoana houses

It was very wellcoming and cozy.All modern appliances, roomy bathroom, everything we needed ewas there.Listening to the waves , beautiful sunrise, it made our stay one of the best.Highly recommended, but leave some dates for us.

Lovely place, clean and tidy, well equipped. If you are not the best sleeper, be aware the fire station is just down the street and the activation alarm can go off often at any time to alert volunteers to come to the station. This is day or night. Over the w/e it went off approx 8 times. However we did get used to it and it just goes off long enough to make sure vols around can hear it, but for those sensitive to loud noise/light sleepers, maybe bring some noise-cancelling ear plugs for overnight. Otherwise the property itself has a lovely charm. One other point, one toilet made it a little harder for 4 adults (but still ok for us being family). We left the door unlocked at night so my sister and hubby in the bunk beds could use over night.

Great host, beautiful clean rooms for a couple of restful nights. I loved the bed.

At first I thought we might be a bit too far away, but not really. 20 mins to Napier, with Hastings and Havelock closer. Great wineries just up the road at Haumoana. 6 Ladies up to see Robbie. Only one bathroom but did not cause any problems at all.

Didi's place is a comfy, tidy home with everything you could need for as long as you want! The decor is funky, retro and thoughtful, beds are comfy, bathroom is great, lovely linens and plenty of extra blankets. The breakfast yoghurt was Puhoi brand, thick and delicious, the muesli and fruit much appreciated. Ma's fish and chip shop is 30 secs down the road and their food is great, burgers included. Walk to town's eateries and shops, or to the marine parade to walk the esplanade and take in the sights. We enjoyed our stay tres much.
