We only had 2 nights and were fairly busy so we didn't get to enjoy the area and the property too much. But if you're looking for a place to hide and crash, do some surfing, walks on the beach, have a great coffee from the coffee truck right across the road, watch something on Netflix from a cozy chair when it's all done, this is your spot! Btw... my pregnant partner couldn't get over the self-warming toilet seats! :-D

We had a fabulous stay at Serenity by the Sea! Its just a walk across the road to the beach, hot pools, playground, library and the Brighton Pier. Also some eateries and Countdown supermarket. We didn't realise this property is two storied and as my hubby has difficulty walking a distance it was a surprise but we managed the stairs together. Also there are two steps into the property. Maybe add that to the description of the property? Would recommend happily as a quiet and peaceful place to stay!

All communication with the host was friendly and very professional. The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed.Appreciated the many extras provided to make us welcome.Care BNB are a highly recommended provider.Will stay with them again on our future trips to Christchurch.

Very smart as new lovely townhouse, everything we needed. Lovely little courtyard. Just across the road from the beach and New Brighton Pier. Communications from owner were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay again.

An lovely renovated bach. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Just a walk across the road yo the beach which is close to the surf life saving if you have children. Very warm on colder nights and the beds are so good. Plenty of hot water as its on gas. You wont be disappointed. Highly recommended. disdapo8nted
