We had to find temporary accommodation while house repairs were being done, and we were so lucky to find Craig and Megan with their pristine bach. While we weren't on holiday and still had work and school drop offs, we couldn't have picked a more suitable residence. The bach has literally everything you need and more. From USB wall outlets, to blazingly fast WiFi speeds, and super comfortable beds we felt right at home. While also being able to wake up to incredible ocean views that made you think maybe there really is a God, right on our doorstep too! We had our own privacy right from day one. Craig and Megan would periodically text us making sure everything was perfect for our stay. 10/10 hosts. If you're gonna book a bach, book this one. Be it for a holiday kayaking on the ocean, or a working holiday to escape the city. It's worth every penny.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at ‘Once Upon A Tide ‘. It was such a peaceful retreat and the views from All the rooms are stunning. The house if probably the cleanest I have stayed in and the decor and extra bits like Homemade cookies were a lovely welcome. We were only there for less than 24hrs, but it felt a lot longer and we will definitely be back!

i stayed here with 8 friends for a birthday getaway and everyone loved it!! the beach was beautiful and the house provided us the perfect place for down time and socialising. thanks for letting us stay!!

Great place to stay

We loved having the sandy beach only a few metres from the large deck at the front of the house. Sadly there was a bit of a storm and quite a lot of rain when we stayed so we weren’t able to sit outside on the deck, but the lounge and dining area was comfy and spacious and we enjoyed watching the storm rage outside!! Even at low tide there is a lovely view from the house. It would be a very safe place for kids to play and swim. A total plus for us was being able to take our dog and go for walks on the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only downside for us is that there weren’t 2 queen side beds inside the house, but that’s only our personal preference. There was a second queen size bed in the sleepout. The large sleepout was very well insulated with plywood walls and new carpet. This was a really nice place to relax and I’d like to come back some time.

Gorgeous spot out in the beach area of town , mostly clean outside of where the cleaners can’t reach. As per other reviews on this spot the check in information wasn’t sent until I asked for it. But when asked was provided and was very clear . On book a Bach it has listed that each room has two queen beds to find out it was only one, so naturally we had an extra person come that had to take the couch. And for it to say a family villa , but really be 1/3 of a villa with attached neighbours didn’t give the quiet that we’d hoped for. Including the neighbours dogs hopping the pool fence into our area constantly Outside of this , the place was satisfactory and the pool well maintained . Thanks for having us stay 😊
