A beautiful peaceful location & clean & well set up cottage. A few functional work arounds, that we had been made aware of, but still a fabulous place to stay. Absolutely recommend the 20 min walk to Kauri falls.
We had an amazing two week stay on the remote island of Aotea. The bach is very simple but had everything we needed - as a larger group we ended up taking a generator which came in handy as well as bringing a lot of our own home luxuries as travelling with babies too. But it has everything you need for a simple and true kiwi holiday. The house is a little smaller than the pictures show, but this wasn’t an issue for us we had such a nice time!
A very short walk from the road carpark to the lovely 'kiwi cozy' pole house. Comfortable and cozy, with beautiful views through the trees to the sea. Easy to walk to the pub & shop at Tryphena for anyone with basic fitness. Stairs up to house and inside would make it tricky for anyone with mobility issues and probably not the best for toddlers! But we loved it.
Very relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay

My family and I very much enjoyed our few days staying in the Dome cabin at Nikki's place. The rooms were exactly as advertised, clean comfortable and an awesome location. Nikki was super helpful and patient for us and made our stay exactly what we wanted.
This is a perfect place to spend relaxing days and re-connect with your family; and we would love to come back next year and spend a longer time here and explore the rest of the island.
Enjoyable stay with comfortable bed, plenty of towels available and close to Ferry landing.Major issue for us was the extremely rough track which wasn't a pleasant experience each time we went out and came back. We would consider it more than a "bumpy driveway". Smart TV did not work after day 2 unless it was operator error. Otherwise everything was available that enables us to have an enjoyable stay.
