Haumoana pet-friendly rentals

We had a warm welcome from Gwen and look around the accommodation. Beautiful breakfast, decor and cosy to relax in. Checked in on us and closed our curtains in evening which was a lovely surprise to come back to after dark! Highly recommended!!!!

This was a great place for our short getaway, very tidy, comfortable and peaceful with everything we needed. It's a fenced property with a lovely garden and outdoor dining so was a perfect spot for us and our small dog both to relax, and as a base to explore more widely. Te Awanga beach is (of course) just a short walk away, Haumoana just down the road, and the Napier waterfront and CBD are only about 20 minutes away by car. So the property itself is great, and the location is also really handy. Our dog didn't notice but there was also a swing and in the garden and a small trampoline on the deck - which could be very handy for those with young kids.

I absolutely loved staying here. We came up for the art deco weekend and it was the perfect location. Super happy with the area and the house itself. The property manager was super lovely and helpful. Will definitely stay again😊

This property offers so much more than you expect and the host is awesome to communicate with. We stayed with two other lots of family, all arriving at different times. Each one, when arrived was in love with the place instantly. Part of me doesn't want to write such a good review and keep this secret to myself haha!! Didi's place is a comfy, tidy home with everything you could need for as long as you want! The decor is funky, retro and thoughtful, beds are comfy, bathroom is great, lovely linens and plenty of extra blankets. The breakfast yoghurt was Puhoi brand, thick and delicious, the muesli and fruit much appreciated. Ma's fish and chip shop is 30 secs down the road and their food is great, burgers included. Walk to town's eateries and shops, or to the marine parade to walk the esplanade and take in the sights. We enjoyed our stay tres much.
