We really enjoyed our stay at Cloud 9. The location could not be better with direct beach access and fantastic views. The house is very cool with a eclectic art collection, well equipped kitchen and an amazing gin collection.
Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and would love to go back for a longer stay.

even better than anticipated, a beautifully restored original , not prissy' authentic ,oozing character, wished I had the gear to repair leak in rowboat, and wonderful coalrange definitely needs good dry kindling and coal supply, otherwise all one could want!

After not visiting Waitati for over 10 years, my sister and I were excited to spend a couple of nights there. We were welcomed warmly by Allan and the dogs, and given a bowl of free-range eggs! The accomodation itself was tidy, warm and very comfortable, with all the amenities you would need. The views of nature out the windows were just perfect. More than anything, it felt like a home away from home and I can't wait to come back and stay there again. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Great place right next to the beach. Nice to be out of the busy town. House was freezing when we got there so would’ve been nice if the heat pump had been turned on beforehand but it warmed up and stayed warm over the 4 days. Otherwise great house and everything in it.

Next holiday place has to have all the same features, like a roomy house and all the things provided, bedding, utensils, basic food etc.. Otherwise we have to come back to your place!!!
