Kaiwaka pet-friendly rentals

We had a wonderful time over the long weekend with our friends. We could take long walks on the beach and spent a nice morning at the markets on Saturday. We had long evenings playing cards and watching the Warriors. Shame that they lost. Loved the house. Very comfortable. Our dog loved it too.

Our little family of 3 had a very relaxing few days staying in the cabin. We loved sitting on the glamping deck enjoying the quiet and the beautiful views and wandering down to the water and mucking around on the shoreline. Cabin is really well set up with everything you need and Valerie is the best host and even bought my son a little birthday present We enjoyed a few activities in the area including the Ruawai cycleway, the Kauri Bushmans walk and a trip to Waipu for pizza and to check out the caves.

Such a lovely holiday house, one of the best I have stayed at in Mangawhai. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, great kitchen and equipment and the location is A. Well worth booking. Communication with Linda was excellent. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

I can’t fault this property, it is stunning, so quiet and the skies are amazing. The views for sunrise and sunset are amazing. You won’t forget bath time with a glass of wine and the view. . Highly recommend this property if you want to get away from it all.

You instantly relax when you arrive here. The view, the harbour, the quiet and the serenity are perfect for a getaway. Helene was responsive with all our requests, including being able to bring our two small dogs on holiday with us. This holiday home has everything you need, seems larger than what the photos display and was spotlessly clean. We had a family celebration to attend in Pahi on Saturday evening, so explored the wider area from Friday when we arrived. You can walk down the hill onto the local beach before walking at low tide around the point to Pahi itself. It’s like as if time stands still here. We are originally from Tinopai, so drove down for a visit, plus took our friends to the Paparoa Market on Saturday morning, plus the Kauri Museum in Matakohe. Thanks so much for a wonderful mini-break in a very well appointed property. We definitely will be back.

The place was immaculate, and had everything! The deck had amazing views of the harbour and a Kereru nesting in a bush just on the other side of the glass ballistrade. The birdsong was so fabulous that we didn't listen to our music the whole time. Tui, Kereru and Morepork talked and sang to us and Fantails accompanied us on the beautiful bushwalks. The private beach was terrific for both us and our dog, but the best part was Aprilanne, William and their dogs. We could not have had better hosts and the perfect amount of interaction with us. They literally supply everything, and to such a high standard and were willing to help with any questions or requests that we had. We left rested and refreshed and with 2 new friends. Highly recommend this property to anyone with a dog that wants a relaxing, but also active holiday.

Great communication from the owner. Clear, concise details about what to expect and how to locate anything we needed. Emails or queries always answered promptly. Stunning location, very private and peaceful. Very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed.
