Arorangi rentals with pool

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this villa in Rarotonga. The kids had a blast in the pool and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. It felt tucked away and private, yet still close to shops and plenty of beachfront restaurants. We enjoyed the best of both worlds — privacy and space at the villa, with easy access to resort amenities like dining, pools, and snorkelling just a short drive away. The perfect spot for a relaxed, family-friendly island getaway.

Fantastic in all respects, and getting even better: on the last day of our stay a batch of new kayaks arrived equipped with back rests. This makes kayaking a lot more pleasurable experience.

Lovely property, gorgeous view of the sunset each evening. Dawn chorus of roosters was a little full on but thats part of life in Rarotonga. A couple of naintebance issues with screen doors but overall the property was great.

We were welcomed with flowers and a beautiful tropical fruit platter. The room was as pictured, very clean and right on the beach. Great swimming beach and we snorkelled. Nice and quiet we cooked most of our meals Thank you for a relaxing holiday my husband and I really needed.

Arcadia Retreat is definately a home away from home. Neil & Maxine are lovely people, who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable at their property. We stayed in Villa Toru, which was spacious for 3 adults and a added bonus of covered outdoor area at the front with bbq to use if so desired. We ate out most nites with Neil giving us great recommendations on restaurants & bars to visit while on holiday. The outdoor bath and shower was unquie and fun which we enjoyed. Beds were comfortable. Set in beautiful gardens with outdoor salted pool, which we had to ourselves and used everyday was awesome. Acardia Retreat is quiet and we would highly recommend. We LOVED the location of this beach house. It is right on the beach! With its very own palm trees :) We felt like the beach was our backyard. It is very swimmable with not too much or too little coral. It was easy to swim and explore the coral with its dozens of different fish, a resident octopus, and a turtle! The kids spent hours in the water. Two nice surprises were; discovering the reef in the distance is where the waves crash, so there were no crashing waves on the beach which created a lovely calm ‘lagoon’ for swimming; and the side of the island the house is on was the non-windy side (the lee side) while we were there (not that the wind is too much of a problem). We met lovely staff and travellers at the Shipwreck next door, enjoying their pina coladas and ika mata. The house itself is great, it had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed being able to make our own meals when desired. The kids loved following the hens and their chicks around. They also discovered a few hermit crabs on the properry, and the friendly dogs reminded us of our one back home!

This is our second stay in this apartment, which says it all really - we love it. Very comfortable, modern and well equipped, and in a lovely, peaceful part of the island. The beach is right there, Vaima restaurant next door and Wigmores store down the road.
