North Island rentals with pool

Fantastic place. Amazing Host.

Lovely spacious, light-filled studio room with views across the street and to trees beyond. Good size kitchenette and we appreciated the milk and tea bags. We also appreciated the early check-in. The weak point of this place is the bathroom handbasin. It is tiny and there is no vanity bench.Also can I suggest some new coat hangers? You'll see from the listed photos that the outside steps are steep, which is not necessarily a problem but there are two things to look out for. Firstly, the depth of the tread. It is very narrow so you have to walk sideways otherwise you'll tear the leather off the back of your shoes. Secondly, there is no handrail. That said, the room has a great heat pump so it's lovely and warm. The bed is super comfortable with good linen and there are plenty of fluffy towels. It's conveniently located close enough to the airport and the city centre - both an easy Uber ride away. The Hataitai village shops are within easy walking distance.Shelley was good to deal with and she responded quickly to my questions.We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing, and the apartment was big. The quality toiletries were also great. It was central and quiet, and we had everything we needed plus more. Great and quick communication from host. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Pete's place is a lovely hideaway nestled in beautiful native bush. The house is cute and quirky with amazing views from the deck and bed! Per the description, there are a number of stairs from the car to the house through the bush, so pack lightly (it's not terrible, but you wouldn't want to carry the kitchen sink). There are a few lovely walks to do from the house including down to their local stony beach, and a wonderful sandy beach only 5-10 mins drive away. Bathroom facilities are in immaculate condition, kitchen is well kitted out, and Pete was a wonderful host. We stayed 2 nights, but could have easily stayed 4 or more to really settle in and explore the area.

When arriving at this property we were absolutely amazed at the view from the deck. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful spot. Fantastic access to the beach and only a short drive into coromandel town. We enjoyed many days at the beach kayaking and swimming and then returning to the deck to enjoy our evening. Only a short walk across the road and we were able to experience the sunset. The facilities and overall feel of this property are second to none. The pool table is also an added bonus too! Lisa was a fantastic host with prompt communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks Lisa for sharing your bach with us. The location is out of this world and was where I popped the question to my partner. I’d recommend this bookabach to anyone. Words simply can’t describe how awesome our holiday was! We had a wonderful time here. The house was clean, cozy and cute, and the location is absolutely stunning. I do think it’s important to note that there was a pamphlet in the cabin which had a pretty heavy emphasis on the hosts’ Christian faith. As a queer couple, this was a little uncomfortable for us. Personally, I feel that it would be more professional to keep business and religion seperate. However, the hosts were very polite and helpful and definitely didn’t make us feel uncomfortable at all in person. I couldn’t fault anything else - we really enjoyed our time here and would stay again.
