The Arena and Juliet's house are the biggest attractions in Verona. The arena of Verona is the third largest arena in Italy and also the best preserved. It is believed to have been built in the second half of the 1st century. Since its inception and up to the present day it has been constantly used for various purposes: Gladiator fights, burning of heretics in the Middle Ages, housing of prostitutes and, more recently, it has been the scene of major theater, opera, rock concerts and shows by famous singers.

Desde a sua construção e até aos dias de hoje tem sido utilizada constantemente servindo a diversos propósitos: Lutas de Gladiadores, queima de hereges na idade Média, habitação de prostitutas e, mais recentemente, palco de grandes espetáculos de teatro, ópera, concertos de rock e shows de cantores famosos.

Beautiful Hotel

Lovely clean spacious hotel located just off main shopping street. Walking distance to all the famous land marks. Hotel staff were very helpful. Would recommend to friends and definitely stay there again.

3 night stay

Brand new apartment building. Really nice apartment and great value. We had the most comfortable bed of the trip so far. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the washing machine in the apartment as we are on a long road trip. Secure parking underneath. Not the most interesting area but we were out exploring each day so didn’t worry us. Area quite commercial. 2 supermarkets within 5 mins drive.
