Another perfect stay at Maison du Soliel. Danielles houses are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Its great to have a garage, close to the inner city, great proximity to everything.Danielle is a wonderful host, we'll be back for sure.

The Bach was tidy and clean and had everything we needed. Very handy location, with the beach, the lost Gypsy and Peake’s kitchen just down the road, and central to all of the Catlins.

The house was so comfortable. The pantry was full and there was enough kitchen equipment like utensils and pans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thank you

Overall the place met most of our needs. The size, warmth and cleanliness were faultless. Our son (4 years old) loved the place. To make it more homely it would have been handy to have a few more pantry essentials. The off street parking was at times hard work but that’s the nature of the street. We would definitely stay again and not hesitate to recommend to others.

The house is clean and tidy. All basic needs are provided for. Great bathroom and kitchen. Everything is great. The property is a perfect place for when you need to get away and switch off from the noises of the city. The big fenced grassed ground is perfect for our dog to run around, she loves it. Did I mention that the host, Annette, was amazing. Highly recommended!

This has been our second stay at Motupipi and the hosts are the best. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place with us again. We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes and have never returned to the same place twice but we will definitely be back to Motupipi again. Thanks Hamish, Gaylene, Kathryn and Shakey for your fantastic hospitality. See you again next year.

Charming kiwi bach full of character and amazing kiwiana. Loved being right on the beach...amazing sunsets! Very well equipped kitchen...perfect for our week long stay. Good shower. Plenty of games, puzzles and books to fill in a rainy day if needed. So many things to enjoy in and around Punakaiki...we especially loved visiting the Pancake Rocks several times (including sunset), Punakaiki Cavern (very cool, need a good torch), Truman Track (easy short walk) Pororari River Track/Inland Pack Track 3 hr loop walk (amazing scenery). Also plenty of great West Coast beaches to explore! Our family of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our time here, would definitely return 😊
