Hidden away among dairy farms in the heart of the Golden Vale region, Fanningstown Castle is just a stone’s throw away from Ireland’s prettiest village – Adare – and an easy 40-minute drive from Shannon Airport. Steeped in medieval history, Fanningstown Castle is the ideal place for family vacations, groups of friends wanting to spend a few days together and couples in search of a secluded romantic hideaway. And, if you are planning on tying the knot, Fanningstown Castle is also registered civil wedding venue, perfect for small, intimate ceremonies for up to 8 people but please note that all weddings must be arranged with Mary prior to reserving the castle.

Our stay at the castle was one of the best experiences. We felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our time. The location is perfect to come back to after day trips throughout Ireland. Mary, the hostess, is the very best to work with while planning our trip and once we got there. I highly recommend staying here.
