Cuevas del Sol is a rural tourist accommodation of quality approved by the Ministry of tourism of the Junta de Andalucía.
    South facing, natural light appropriates the interior all day, with a temperature that oscillates around 19ºC throughout the year.
   The caves are accessed from the street through a large patio with gardens and trees full of corners from where you can enjoy tranquility and unparalleled views.
    In few places of our planet we can enjoy this unusual type of house, excavated in a clay of great resistance, proof of this is the legacy of Almoravid caves from the 11th century that still remain intact today.
    You will have the experience of living in the bowels of the earth where silence, constant temperature and beautiful forms are magical; also enjoying all the comforts of a 21st century home.
    Gorafe has the largest concentration of dolmens in the Peninsula, with signposted routes and an interactive and very innovative museum, recently inaugurated on megalithic.
    The town has all kinds of services: supermarket, pharmacy, doctor's office, bars, nightclub ... plus a municipal center with free internet access.

Komplett eingerichtet, liebevoll gestaltet, sauber. Im Sommer ist das angenehme Klima in einer Höhlenwohnung unübertroffen. Wir kommen wieder.

Peaceful and serene

I stayed for two weeks. Even though it was very hot outside, the temperature inside was very comfortable. The place was quiet, clean and very comfortable and I look forward to being able to come back. It was a great place for contemplation and rejuvenation.

Hemos estado un grupo de amigos, que por razones de trabajo, vivimos en diferentes comunidades. Buscamos por azar y dimos con este idílico alojamiento. El recibimiento fué afectuoso y el lugar cálido. El entorno insólito y fascinante, lleno de rutas de dificultad fácil. El exterior de la cueva soleado, amplio y lleno de rincones donde disfrutar del mediodía invernal con la barbacoa y el vino de la zona. Por la noche al calor de la chimenea pasamos las horas cantando canciones del pasado de cuando eramos estudiantes. Lo malo es que el tiempo paso y tuvimos que marcharnos.

Pozo de estrellas

Somos una pareja con dos niños pequeños. Llegamos llenos de estres, cansados y sin saber muy bien por que habíamos elegido este sitio para venir de vacaciones. Nada mas llegar nos sorprendió el paisaje tan insólito, la tranquilidad que se respiraba en el aire y el silencio. Las imagenes del alojamiento no hacia justicia a la belleza del lugar. Pronto nos instalamos y enseguida nos sentimos como en casa. El exterior es ideal para que los niños jueguen y nos dejasen descansar. Por la noche cenamos en el exterior y descubrimos que el cielo era tridimensional y las estrellas infinitas. Nuestros niños preguntaban incansables por el nombre de las mas brillantes, menos mal que tenia una aplicación en el movil y me saco de apuros, dando respuestas a sus preguntas. Todos los días descubriamos algo nuevo, dando un paseo, haciendo una escursión... Los dueños fueron muy atentos dandonos consejos e información de la zona. Al final los días nos supieron a poco y tenemos pendiente volver.
