ALMOST HEAVEN is located only six miles from HELEN, GA! Quiet and peaceful, you will relax in this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin with three large covered back decks. The road is paved all the way to the cabin and only 0.4 miles from the main road. Enjoy the covered decks from the loft, the living room and the basement each with their own relaxing furniture and features. Relax in the HUGE hot tub just out the sliding door of the Master Bedroom. Enjoy the swing overlooking the AMAZING, birds-eye view of Yonah Mountain and valley below. Enjoy a STUNNING look at the face of the famous Yonah Mountain from the comfort of any of the 3 stories of decks! Enjoy the panoramic views as you indulge in an array of porch swings, gliders, and outdoor dining. The sunrises here are spectacular leaving you feeling like it was ALMOST HEAVEN! A pool table, foosball table, and TVs in all rooms are provided to keep you and your family entertained while you stay in the cabin. If you do venture out, you are only a short drive to the backside of HELEN GA, giving you easy access to tubing, and the entire town of HELEN GA. In addition to this, all our guests have access to our private trout pond and fishing package (Seasonal, just ask the agent at the time of reservation). This cabin also has a beautifully built fire-pit making it a pleasure to sit around the fire. Firewood packages are available for delivery upon request. Whether you stay in the Cabin or choose to tour the Town of HELEN GA, you are sure to enjoy your stay in this LUXURY Custom Built Cabin.

NEW INSTALLATION - Clean Comfort Whole Cabin Ultraviolet Air Purifier - Installed on the air intake for the property all the air that flows into the cabin has to pass over this Ultraviolet light that cleans and purifies the air your breathing in and reduces allergens and irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold, and viruses! This helps to ensure that the air you breathe inside the cabin is perfectly clean!

Enhanced Cleaning Protocol

We are taking the recommended steps as presented by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing our cabin for your arrival. We are following the protocols laid out by the CDC and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for Hard (non-porous) Surfaces, Soft (Porous) Surfaces, and Electronics. The linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per the manufacturer's guidelines. We are also emptying the hot tubs, sanitizing, and refilling with fresh water and chemicals after each guest's stay. We look forward to welcoming you to our cabin and hosting your stay.

Be sure to bring extra of these items and any other items you may need for your stay

We enjoyed the past few days at Almost Heaven. The view is gorgeous! The cabin was everything we expected it to be. It’s only a short ride into Helen. We would definitely stay here again!

Four adults and two children stayed in this cabin recently. The beds were comfortable and everything was very nice and clean. The living room couch and chairs are also really comfy. The view is certainly the highlight! All appliances worked great and were clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Cabin was very clean. Amenities quite nice. Loved the view and the decks were comfortable. We were close to a lot of restaurants and mountain drives were a short trip away. Main bedroom on main floor was helpful for my 92 year old father. We loved watching the sun rise and moonrise but did miss the sunsets haha.

Gorgeous view and comfortable

Mountain views, particularly from the top floor were gorgeous. The place itself was nicely decorated and had all the amenities. We enjoyed the outside fire ring and inside gas fire place. Spacious for family of 4, plenty of space for even 6 adults. Bedroom on each floor very different, though all floors have balcony.

The Best View

We would definitely stay here again! We had three couples that each had their own master suite with comfortable king beds. We spent most of our time on the porches with such gorgeous views. Got to enjoy the wildlife in the yard as well. We ventured into Cleveland and Helen. Recommend going to Clyde’s tavern and the small town shops in Cleveland! Enjoyed walking through Oktoberfest in Helen as well.

Great Cabin with Great Views

We had 3 adult couples and the layout worked perfectly. We each had a bedroom and bathroom on a different floor. The living room and kitchen were plenty big enough for us all to hang out. The balcony has great views of the mountains and was a fun place to hang out. The location was very convenient to any local attractions.

Wonderful Trip

We rented this property for a family vacation. Property is dated and could have been cleaned better but over all our stay was excellent. Had one issue when we arrived but te owner took care of it within an hour of us reporting it. The views of the mountains are spectacular! The pool table and foosball table are great amenities at this property. Plenty of space and a deck on each level make this property a very peaceful place to stay.

The only problem we had was Vrbo listed this property as being in Sautee And it was in Cleveland.. this was an inconvenience since we had friends staying in Sautee Nacoochee.. other than that, awesome cabin!!

Couple’s Getaway

The property and view are beautiful. The 3 king rooms and bathrooms for each were perfect for 3 couples. The bathrooms needed a little more attention being cleaned, but it wasn’t worth a call to have someone come out. A colony of bats seems to have made the cabin their home and it would be good to uninvite them as guests. :). Overall, it was a great stay and we had a wonderful weekend.

A Slice of Heaven/Top Cabin in Helen Area

We have been coming to the Helen area for the last 12 years and have been to this cabin twice and can say it is one of the top cabins in the area. The cabin checks all the boxes for a pleasant stay such as a full bathroom in each floor, hot tub, bbq, comfortable furniture and most importantly, the view from the 3 balconies. It’s centrally located and trips to the grocery store can be done in under 15 minutes. The staff checks in with you before during and after the stay. We had a rain day and just hung out at the cabin, cooking and using the game room made it seem like a day well spent. The view of mount Yonah was incredible as was the backyard and rock garden. Definitely booking this cabin again!

Almost Heaven It Is!

The view is stunning. Kitchen is well-appointed, even with a big selection of grilling tools. We appreciated the standard coffeemaker AND the Keuring with starter supplies for both. Bedrooms are comfortable, each with its own set of rocking chairs for sipping wine and enjoying the woods and the view of Yonah Mountain and beyond. When an issue with air-conditioning presented, it was reset remotely in a jiffy. If you call, they will definitely attend to you in a very timely manner. Everything was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We will return.

Good location

Cabin had a great location and beautiful view. It was close to all the activities in Helen, GA. That part was worth it. Could have been a little cleaner and cabin itself was dated. We found a dead bat in in the utility closet in ground floor bedroom. Fruit flies were everywhere and the management tried to help with that. Mouse was seen on ground floor as well. Seem to have a pest issue.

Sad to leave!!

This was our second time staying at this property this year! So that should tell you something! This time, we came for Thanksgiving weekend, and it could not have been better. We had 4 adults and two children. The multi-level layout worked great to give everyone their own space. It seemed like they had added some new cookware - which was certainly appreciated this weekend. This house had everything we could have wanted. Watching the sunrise over Mount Yonah was a great way to start each day. And the fire pit was a great way to end each day. This house just feels like home! We love it and can't wait for the next visit!

Simply Amazing

This cabin is everything I hoped it'd be! As a single parent, vacations are few and far between, unfortunately. I was in desperate need of a vacation myself and with my son being 16, I only have a few Spring Breaks left to make the most of! My son brought a friend and they thoroughly enjoyed the "man cave" downstairs, playing pool and foosball, and sitting in the hot tub at night! They were up till the wee hours of the morning every day just enjoying themselves! They even went exploring in the woods one afternoon! I personally just enjoyed how relaxing and peaceful the cabin was! The view is spectacular and you couldn't ask for better sunrises/sunsets! Also, I think I turned the fireplace on every night simply because it made me feel even more relaxed! We were sad to leave but will most definitely be back!
