Comfortable two bedroom, two bath room with a library/office, with two desks.
The décor is what travelers are looking for on a trip to Tucson - Spanish Mission!
Three patios for outdoor enjoyment with a fire pit! You can see the 9th hole of the public Arthur Pack Golf Course from the back yard.
Master bedroom has a king size bed with roman tub in the master bath.
The second bedroom has twin beds and nice sized closet.
For travelers that may have to work while they are on vacation the home has a study/office with two desks and doors that close for privacy.
The home has two televisions equipped Direct TV and have the ability to play movies with either VRC or CD players. In addition one TV has a Fire Stick for the many channels available.
There is a selection of movies and music to chose from.
Strip mall, gas station and Mc Donald's on the corner.
Located 10 miles north of downtown Tucson in a quiet family housing community.

We stayed here in March and were greeted by Mary. Mary's home is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. The home has a lovely patio area with lots of welcoming seating. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby, the golf course is just across the street. Mary's home is also convenient for hiking and biking. We would stay here again.

Wonderful home away from home!

We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. It had everything we needed for a 3 week stay. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Lovely patio area. We’ve been visiting the area for over 10 years and our hostess was the best we've ever had.

The host Mary is the most pleasant person you would want to meet. Her home is like a home away from home. Clean as a whistle and neat as a pin ( in and out). Her home is in a very safe community with friendly neighbors. I can't say enough about this Vrbo ! We will most definitely stay in this home away from home property again.

Very comfortable home with all amenities.

Another lovely stay at the house. It is so nice to have a fully kitted out accommodation that has all the conveniences of home. The owner supplies many thoughtful extras, which was most appreciated. Easy access to shopping and other necessities, as well as freeway access for longer trips. A thoroughly enjoyable month.

Cozy home with great back patio

Well stocked kitchen supplies, comfy bed and linens and close to main roads. Located in a neighborhood so some children out and about, school buses, UPS trucks, driving through neighborhood. Otherwise, a quiet area. Back patio is large with numerous seating options and shade umbrellas. Nicely landscaped too.

The location was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room for outside relaxing, as well as indoor dining, game playing, and tv watching! Mary was the perfect host! Not Just A House…A HOME!

Everything you need for a relaxing winter retreat in warm Arizona. Clean and comfortable inside, with well stocked kitchen. Outside featured covered deck with dining, and several additional seating areas all with Mountain View’s, or sit by the gas fire pit at night and marvel at the stars. Neighborhood is easy to find and close to I-10 to experience all that metro Tucson has to offer. Great home base to relax and unwind. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sunny stay in Tucson

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday in Mary Hill's house. It was very well equipped for self catering and we loved sitting out in the various areas of the patio. Very convenient for shops and sightseeing. Also very good communication and inforormation supplied by our host.

Wonderful relaxing place to stay

Mary met us when we arrived and gave us a tour which was wonderful. What we loved most about the place was the different areas in the back garden that had been setup. You could always find a place in the shade no matter what time of the day it was. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner outside every day which was lovely and relaxing (though a couple of extra lights around the outside able might have been nice). All rooms had a fan, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked, to the point that we needed an obscure kitchen utensil and it was there! The location was great for the stores, yet also felt a little "out of it" which was nice. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Spacious Tucson home

Nice roomy house with everything you need. Back yard has several lovely seating/eating areas including umbrellas, fire pit and grill. The king bed was very comfortable too. Mary is the nicest person and makes you feel very welcome with extra special touches. This house is nicely located close to the Catalina Foothills/Oro Valley area and hiking trails are close by as well as all the big city conveniences.

Wonderful home in NW Tucson

We had an extended stay here for 3.5 months in early 2019. The home is very well appointed and in a quiet neighborhood. Extensive outdoor living areas for both sun lovers and shade lovers. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. During our extended stay, a couple items needed repair, and they were seen to immediately. The home now has wifi, which was needed for our stay. In addition to installing the wifi for us, the owner installed a beautiful New Mexico table outside, a ramada for additional shade, and added many smaller touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our break from a harsh midwest winter, and would not have second thoughts about staying here again in the future.

Very nice and helpful landlord. Responded to questions and issues immediately. Beautifully decorated house in Tucson. Extremely comfortable to live in. Centrally located to shopping and the freeway. Quiet neighbourhood. Lack of internet was a problem.

I live and work in Tucson, this house is the place I call home. It is "Nana's Place" to my grandchildren. It was our family home for years and now I make it available to you as a place to make a few memories during the winter months while I travel!
It was never just a house! It was walls full of love and laughter!

Why they chose this property

Because, it quickly feels like "Home"!!
Each room is well furnished and fully stocked.
You can easily arrive with suitcases only and shop for food items.
In addition, there are five separate areas in the back yard to relax and enjoy the Arizona winter!

What makes this property unique

As you look around the property you will notice the rock wall on the corner, the brick patio where the swing and picnic table set and the large patio on the left side of the yard... not to mention the wood shutters on the understand that my husband and I work on each of these projects together to make this house our home. Each project was an act of love.
