Casa Rural Turpesa is a rural house for rent in full modality.
We are located in the town of Peñalba twenty kilometers from the urban center of Ponferrada, which is reached by crossing the Oza Valley by a mountain road.
The house, of a single-family type, is located a few meters from the Mozarabic church of Peñalba in the church square. Its architecture corresponds to the popular type of the area, with rustic stone walls, slate roof and wooden carpentry. It consists of a high floor, where the house is, and a ground floor dedicated to other common services.
It has an area of 40 m², located in a natural space on the banks of the source of the Oza River.
The house is a typical mountain construction. Built in 1905, renovated in 1987 and opened to the public in 1999, it is in good condition.

Sin comparación posible, de lujo!
Necesitábamos relajarnos, paz, tranquilidad y unas vacaciones inolvidables, y sin duda lo fueron. El trato del propietario, fue magnifico, un caballero responsable, atento, cariñoso y con una casa que cumplió nuestras expectativas con creces. No podemos poner ni un solo "pero".
Estos días en pandilla, nosotros en esta casa y nuestros amigos en otra, estamos seguros que tardarán en repetirse. Un lugar con encanto, con actividades para realizar peques y mayores y repito, dos alojamientos que permitieron encontrarnos igual de cómodos que en casa.
Gracias de verdad!!

Desconexión total
Íbamos buscando tranquilidad y paisajes y encontramos el lugar ideal. La carretera es preciosa, aunque hay que tomársela con calma, el aparcamiento a la entrada del pueblo es grande y a partir de ahí te olvidas del coche. La casa ideal, con todo lo que se pueda necesitar y el dueño, muy agradable y servicial, te informa estupendamente de todo lo que se puede hacer por los alrededores que son impresionantes. El trato con la gente del pueblo hace que te sientas como en casa, incluso mejor. Como colofón nos llevamos miel de su propia cosecha que es estupenda. Lo hemos recomendado a nuestros amigos y esperamos volver pronto.

FIN DE SEMANA ESTUPENDO
Un alojamiento estupendo, con todas las comodidades, y, en el que nos sentimos como en casa, y, situada en un lugar perfecto para el que busque tranquilidad y hacer alguna ruta de senderismo, como la Ruta del Molino, o la visita a la Cueva de San Genadio; la atención recibida ha sido excelente, empezando desde el propietario de la casa hasta las gentes del pueblo. La unica pequeña pega es el acceso, puesto que es una carretera con muchas curvas pero que queda compensada con las maravillosas vistas que se disfrutan en su recorrido, incluyendo una cascada preciosa. Recomendable la visita y el alojamiento lo mires por donde lo mires. Gracias, Jose Manuel.

REPETIREMOS
Un pueblo encantador, paisajes inigualables, y, un alojamiento estupendo; la restauracion de la casa está realizada con mucho gusto, no falta ningun detalle; la atención de su propietario ha sido estupenda; incluso nos invitó al tradicional magosto que celebraba la asociacion de vecinos del pueblo en esa fecha, donde no faltaron los chorizos con cachelos (como llaman a la patata cocida en El Bierzo), la panceta, el buen vino, además de una estupenda rosca de nueces, regada con una riquisima queimada (orujo quemado), "conxuro" incluido, y, amenizado con musica tradicional de gaitas, guitarras y acordeones. Un fin de semana inolvidable !

PARA REPETIR ....
Seré breve; entorno inigualable, aquilianos y valle del silencio parecen sacados de una postal de Suiza; el pueblo precioso, asi como su gente, siempre dispuesta a explicarte el por qué del nombre del valle, la historia de San Genadio ...; el alojamiento ha sido de los mejores si no el mejor de los que conocemos, es una casa muy coqueta, cálida, y con todas las comodidades como para sentirte en tu casa; además, su propietario hizo honor a su fama, recibiendo un trato exquisito durante toda la estancia, además de brindarnos ayuda para preparar las rutas que hicimos. Resumiendo, un puente de la Almudena inolvidable !.

pasamos 2 noches y tres días donde nos sentimos como en nuestra casa es una casa pequeñita pero con todas las comodidades que se pueden esperar el trato con el propietario es excelente amable y muí atento dispuesto a ayudarte en lo que necesites francamente gracias por avernos echo sentir como en casa
