About this property

Guest house with lake view, close to Stockholm, Sweden

This small house is in the middle of a forest and really close to the lake Rösjön and its Nature reserve. It has a sofa bed, a loft, a bathroom and a kitchenette, the house has a beautiful view from both the room and the loft.

The garden, shared with the family house, is large and we have several patios, garden furniture, grill, wooden sauna, and a jacuzzi. Good to know that it is hilly around the property and there are several steps out on the verandas. There are excellent walking trails around the lake and a beach area just one minute from the property. In winter you will find ski trails and ski slopes just a few minutes away.

Reaching the center of Stockholm takes you only 20 mins by car and 35 mins by bus and subway.

Possible to use washing machine in our large house and car parking on the property.
We clean the house after your stay and there are cleaning equipment to use during the stay. Linen and towels are included and you can get extra upon request.

Lovely cottage in nature!

A little gem in the forest

I can highly recommend the tiny house of Helena and Claes. Everything was designed with much love and an eye for the detail. They are both very helpful and kind and I enjoyed the chats we had in their garden. The house is suited close to a supermarket and next to a bus station. You can easily reach any place even without a car. I loved the hikes in the area around the lake. Its peaceful and quiet. Thank you again, Helena and Claes.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of the Swedish nature

We had beautiful days in Helena's and Claes' little house. It's a very nice place in the middle of Swedish nature and near a lake (including a nice beach, very cool for kids), just a minute to walk. Stockholm can be reached by public transport easily within 30 minutes. The house offers everything you need, it's very nice decorated, we even got fresh cinnamon buns from Helena when arriving. You are free to use the sauna and the jacuzzi anytime. The two highlights for our two kids are called Cindy and Märta, two very kind dogs. We definitely recommend this location, thanks a lot, Helena and Claes!

Knus huisje in een super omgeving

Samen met mijn partner heb ik het huisje van Helena en Clara gehuurd. Al vanaf het eerste contact hadden wij een goed gevoel, de verhuurders reageerden snel en stonden klaar voor alle vragen. Het huisje was enorm knus, met een mooi terras en een fijne jacuzzi. Het is een fantastische plek om even tot rust te komen, maar toch dichtbij de mooie stad Stockholm. Wij hebben genoten en raden het iedereen aan om hier even lekker te relaxen!

Urlaub in der Natur - ganz in der Nähe von Stockholm (Nature but close to Stockholm)

Dies war der erste Versuch eines Urlaubs ohne Auto und Flugzeug. Dazu hatten wir eine Ferienwohnung für 4 Personen gesucht, die aber in der Nähe von Stockholm lag. Der Plan ging sehr gut auf. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein gemütliches eingerichtetes Tiny-Haus, in dem auch 4 Personen für eine Urlaubszeit gut Platz finden können. Dazu gehört eine Terrasse mit Esstisch und Blick auf den See Rösjön sowie eine Hollywoodschaukel unter einem Pavillon. Außerdem kann man Sauna, Jacuzzi und Grill nutzen. Stockholm ist von hier aus problemlos mit Bus und Metro innerhalb von ca. 45 Minuten erreichbar. Die Gegend ist aber schon ein Naturreservat, daher sind Wanderungen zu Fuß, Fahrrad oder Kanu genauso möglich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen als wir ankamen. Helena und Claes haben uns bei den "ersten Schritten" in Schweden geholfen: Wo kann man eine Wochenkarte für den ÖPNV kaufen bzw. über welche App? Wo ist der nächste Supermarkt? Wie ist die Mülltrennung in Schweden? Was lohnt sich in Stockholm zu entdecken? Wo kann man gut Kajaks ausleihen? ... Es war ein großartiger Urlaub mit viel wandern, paddeln, Schiff fahren, Stockholm entdecken und - ausschlafen ;-). (Und tatsächlich ganz ohne Auto.)

Super Ferienhaus mit Wundervoller Lage

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Fereinhaus. Es liegt inmitten einer Wundervollen Umgebung in der Nähe des Rösjön Sees und dem Naturschutzgebiet, welches ihn umgibt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets freundlich und reibungslos, Helena und Claes sind tolle Gastgeber. Das Ferienhaus ist klein aber fein mit tollem Bad und kleiner Küche. Der Ausblick auf den See ob vom Haus oder aus dem Jacuzzi superschön. Stockholm ist von hier aus auch bestens mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Vielen Dank an Helena und Claes für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

Traumhaft schön!

Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Stockholm zu erkunden. Und am Abend kann man sich von dem ganzen Trubel des Tages super erholen. Der See liegt nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft weg und lädt zum Baden ein. Alles in allem - nur zu empfehlen!

Urlaub in Schweden

Das Häuschen liegt in einer sehr idyllischen und ruhigen Lage. Das Haus selbst ist zwar für 4 Personen ein bisschen eng, doch die Terrasse und der Garten sind sehr großzügig und einladend. Das Haus und auch der Außenbereich sind sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Den Jacuzzi Whirlpool haben wir täglich verwendet. In der Nähe gibt es 2 kleine Badestrände, wo die ganze Familie einen Riesenspaß hatten. Die Lage ist ideal um Stockholm und die umliegenden Städte wie Uppsala und Sigtuna, sowie die Schäreninseln wie z.B. Vaxholm zu erkunden. Clars war super-freundlich und gab uns wertvolle Tips. Helena und die Hunde konnten wir leider nicht kennenlernen, da sie selbst auf Sommerfrische waren. Einziger Wermutstropfen waren die hellen Nächte, wo wir leider nicht sehr gut schlafen konnten. Das Abdunkeln des Innenraumes ist leider nur bedingt möglich. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen wir die Unterkunft weiter.

Idyllische Unterkunft außerhalb Stockholm

Wer neben der Stadt die Ruhe sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Fahrzeit nach Stockholm City mit Bus und Metro ca. 45 Minuten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Magnifique séjour au calme

Séjour au calme après une journée de visites a Stockholm. C'est un endroit très beau et très paisible au milieu de la forêt. Il y a un grand lac pour se promener et pique niquer / se baigner . Profiter du spa au milieu des arbres est un bonheur . Accueil chaleureux avec des petites brioches délicieuses . Je recommande ++++

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Hilfestellungen (Taxi, Sauna, feines Gebäck, willkommensdrink). Tolle Umgebung, ruhig mit Wald und See. Zugang zum schlafplatz im „Obergeschoss“ ist etwas heikel.

Alles Notwendige war perfekt vorbereitet. Es gab zwei große Terrassen, die wir oft benutzt haben. Der nah gelegene See lud zum Baden ein. Es war ruhig, und wir fühlten uns ungestört.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful place

We had a wonderful time at Karrdal. It was so close to stores, restaurants, and public transit, but was tucked away in the woods on a nature reserve. Every morning, we had a great view of swans swimming on the lake across the path. Helen gave us all the information we needed to relax, use the hot tub and sauna. They thought of everything to make the visit comfortable and luxurious. Even as we left, we were talking about when we could come back again. I highly recommend staying here.

Cosy place close to city and nature

A cosy little guesthouse, nicely decorated and with everything you need. The area is beautiful and it is easy to get to Stockholm using public transportation. It is ideal if you are looking for a combination of both city life and nature for your stay. Finally the hosts Helena and Claes are very friendly people and ready to help you with everything you need. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft für unsere Flitterwochen

Wir hatten unglaublich schöne Tage in diesem kleinen Häuschen. Die Lage ist absolut perfekt, ruhig und direkt an einem schönen See gelegen. Den Whirlpool haben wir fast täglich genutzt und es war immer wieder ein Highlight. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wollen gerne wieder kommen.

Lovely place to stay, and nice hosts

Claës and Helena's guesthouse is perfect, we spent wonderful days, everything is calm and well presented. There are all the comforts and it feels good. The location is excellent for enjoying the region. We received a very good welcome from Claës and Helena who are very symaptic people and with whom it is pleasant to talk. We are impatient to come back to this cozy place.
