Perfect place to disconnect from the rest of the world and rest in an unimaginable garden with exceptional landscapes and trails. Located in the municipality of Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres), the Virgen de la Cabeza rural houses constitute a nucleus composed of 3 homes perfectly adjusted to the traditional architecture of the area, and adapted to the desired tourist use, with a careful design.

Three stone houses in a single construction that can communicate with each other from the inside so that they can accommodate from 4 to 18 people with total comfort and always totally independent. Each of the houses consists of a hall, living room with fireplace and TV, kitchen with all kinds of utensils, two double bedrooms and bathroom. They are perfectly equipped with central heating and hot water. They also have a pool, furnished terrace and garden with barbecue.

The houses are at the foot of the hermitage of the Virgen de la Cabeza, 12 km. from the municipality of Valencia de Alcántara, and 10 km. from San Vicente de Alcántara. The closest towns are La Aceña de la Borrega (4 km.) And Alcorneo (3 km.)

Um oásis no deserto

O espaço exterior é ótimo para grupos. Já o espaço interior como está dividido em 3 casas, têm cozinhas e salas pequenas para grupos maiores. Os quartos ficam no 1º andar, 2 em cada casa e não têm AC, partilhando um quarto de banho por casa. O distanciamento ao aglomerado mais próximo (4,5 km) criam uma sensação de isolamento e liberdade total do resto do mundo. Apenas é necessário ter em atenção a programação e aprovisionamento das refeições e demais necessidades para que não falte nada, uma vez que os locais mais próximos onde fazer comprar ficam a mais de 30min de distância, agravados pela necessidade de fazer um percurso de 4,5 km em caminho de terra batida, nem sempre nas melhores condições, que torna as deslocações mais difíceis para os carros ligeiros normais.

Una casa fantástica

Hemos pasado un fin de semana largo en familia muy agradable. Las casas son muy amplias y confortables y el exterior inmejorable! Hemos disfrutado todos muchísimo. Solo dos cositas: 1. - Tener cuidado no os perdáis, el navegador ofrece dos caminos. Pero solo es transitable el que comienza en Aceña de la Borrega!!! 2.- Me dio muchísima rabia no poder disfrutar de las estrellas por el exceso de luz exterior en las casas. Una auténtica pena, ya que íbamos con intención de disfrutar de esta actividad adultos y niños y resultó imposible...

Ideal para grupos

Casa rural perfecta para grupos; nosotros éramos tres matrimonios con 6 adultos y 9 niños. Al ser tres casas rurales unidas por el interior lo ideal lo es alquilar las tres a la vez. Magnífica piscina debidamente cuidada, al igual que el jardín. Mosquiteras en las habitaciones. Cocina completa en las tres casas. Baño también completo en cada una de las casas. Estupendo el espacio dedicado a barbacoa y horno. Lo peor es el acceso. Si se viene desde Aceña es una pista forestal de unos 7 kms. Se quitan las ganas de hacer excursiones por los alrededores (dólmenes, Valencia de Alcántara, Marvao). Es ideal para desconectar durante 3 ó 4 días. No se oye un alma. No hay ruidos. Fuimos en verano, por lo que no podemos opinar sobre el funcionamiento de la calefacción o las chimeneas.

!! Altamente recomendable ¡¡

Quiero con estas líneas hacer un resumen de las sensaciones vividas en la casa Rural Virgen de la Cabeza en compañía de unos buenos amigos y niños. El sitio aunque un poco apartado no tiene desperdicio, la casa es preciosa tanto por fuera como por dentro, en el exterior un paisaje y un entorno espectacular y por dentro un ambiente cálido y confortable. Gracias a los propietarios por vuestra hospitalidad y enhorabuena por la reforma que habéis llevado a cabo en la casa y sobre todo la nueva barbacoa o cocina exterior que no tiene desperdicio.
