One of four stone-built cottages near the owner’s farmhouse at the end of a long, private drive, it is surrounded by mature trees, bushes, tasteful planting, fields and birdsong. It is also ideal for dog walks, with perfectly manicured grass verges and thoughtfully positioned benches to take in the view.

This charming cottage has a beamed, vaulted ceiling, exposed stone walls and a wood burner, all adding to its character. It has been thoughtfully furnished throughout to provide the perfect ingredients for cosy evenings in, while its pretty, private patio area, with lawned garden beyond, is perfect for al fresco dining, taking in the sea air and absorbing the tranquillity of nature.

Locally, Fishguard is complete with a host of restaurants focusing on local produce and fresh line caught bass. The rugged North Pembrokeshire coastline is perfect for the chance of spotting a dolphin with boat trips leaving regularly from nearby Cardigan. Inland, you may stumble across the majestic Cenarth Falls, which if you time it right in the autumn, you can see the salmon and sea trout leaping up the falls which really is a magnificent sight. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

A lovely little stone cottage- the perfect get away retreat.

A lovely little stone cottage- the perfect get away retreat. Absolute stunning during the day, but in the evenings and you can hear a pin drop it’s so quiet! The owners are near if you need them, but don’t intrude. The ideal get away to unwind.... fully recharged. The only drawback is that we’ve got to go back to work!

We did like Jemima's Cottage a lot, but the kitchenware was a bit sparse.

We did like Jemima's Cottage a lot, but the kitchenware was a bit sparse..... Even though it's a 1 bed cottage, we would have liked a 'normal' fridge and some more plates; there were just 2 of each. That being said, I would recommend the cottage. Very nice owner and the cottage itself was lovely otherwise.

Perfect for a couple.

Perfect for a couple. Quite location, not overlooked, with great views. Owners near but not intrusive. Maybe a TV in the bedroom would be a good addition. Some sort of sign near the entrance would be helpful, but not a major problem. Car essential if want to eat out, especially at night. Good value for money, would recommend.
