Welcome to "Rest of Don Quixote", Rural House located in the beautiful and quiet town of Belmonte, in the province of Cuenca, in the heart of the Ruta del Quijote.

Our house has a capacity for 10 people. It consists of 5 large rooms type "suite" (double and double). All rooms have a separate bathroom and television. In addition, it has a large living room, fully equipped kitchen and a Castilian patio.

The house has been decorated combining elements of architecture and typical La Mancha decoration with the personal style of the owners.

Belmonte has important points of tourist interest, among which its Castle of the XV Century, one of the most photogenic in Spain and the true distinctive mark of the area, and La Colegiata de San Bartolomé. The sunsets and sunsets in Belmonte seen from its majestic Castle are spectacular.

The castle has been the setting for the filming of numerous films, including "El Cid" (1951) starring Charlton Heston and Sofia Loren, who stayed in our town during the filming.

Belmonte is an ideal location for day trips. Some interesting options are: Cuenca (1 h 15 min.), Wind Mills of Mota del Cuervo (15 min.), El Toboso: Casa de Dulcinea (25 min.), Windmills of Campo de Criptana (35 min. ), Lagunas de Ruidera (1 h 30 min.), Villaescusa de Haro (10 min.), Roman Ruins of Segóbriga (45 min.), Uclés (Monastery) (1h 10 min.).

Una casa perfecta para viajar en familia

Estuvimos alojados en Descanso del Quijote y desde el primer momento el propietario tuvo un trato muy cercano y agradable. La situación de la casa es inmejorable, cerca de muchos puntos de interés del bello pueblo de Belmonte. La casa está muy bien y es muy confortable. La distribución de la vivienda es maravillosa y las habitaciones son amplias, elegantes y bastante equipadas. Es una casa con mucho encanto. Todo fue muy bien y repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

El descanso del Quijote, un lugar para repetir.

Buenas. Un grupo de amigas y yo hemos pasado este fin de semana en la casa rural "Descanso del Quijote" y se han cumplido todas nuestras expectativas. En cuanto a la limpieza y equipamiento de la casa todo estaba correcto. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien, cada una con su cuarto de baño y con aire acondicionado, excepto la habitación de la parte de abajo, pero en realidad no hizo falta ya que en la parte baja de la casa hace fresquito y se está muy bien. A todas mis amigas les encantó la casa y pudimos disfrutar de un fin de semana muy especial. Me llamó muchísimo la atención la piscina porque el sistema que cubría la piscina evitaba que se ensuciara con facilidad. La cocina estaba totalmente equipada con utensilios suficientes para todas: platos, cubiertos, etc. Además el trato con la propietaria fue muy bueno, ofreciéndonos su ayuda para cualquier consulta. En definitiva, un magnífico lugar para pasar un buen fin de semana con tus amigos o familiares. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Todo perfecto

Nos alojamos en la Semana Santa, en total 8 adultos y 6 niños pequeños. La casa super amplia y con todo lo necesario para no tener que llevar nada. Las habitaciones mejores que las de muchos hoteles y totalmente independientes con su baño. La decoracion muy detallista y acojedora. El trato con el dueño perfecto y sin ningun problema, siempre disponible. La terraza de la piscina lo mejor, lastima que el tiempo no acompañó. Para ir con niños es perfecta, tienen espacio y estan controlados. Es un alojamiento muy tranquilo y acojedor. Lo recomiendo a aquellos que busquen un lugar bonito , con una casa 10 y viajen tanto solos como con niños.

Fantástica

Hemos estado 4 días con la familia y es una casa encantadora, habitaciones muy amplias, muy cómodas, acondicionada con todo lujo de detalles y la decoración exquisita, todas las habitaciones con baño propio, camas comodísimas (los niños dormían más que nunca!), el patio interior fenomenal para jugar los niños, la ubicación estupenda para hacer turismo y luego poderse relajar y descansar. Un 10 en todo! Muchas gracias por hacer del turismo rural una experiencia inolvidable!

Un buen fin de semana

Hemos estado 10 amigos pasando un fin de semana de Agosto y ha sido una estancia muy agradable, la casa está limpia y muy bien decorada, además está muy bien situada, en una zona céntrica pero tranquila. Los dueños, muy amables. Volveremos.
