Fat Head Mount

Monte da Cabeça Gorda is a rural property with 2.725ha (27. 250m2),
located in the village of Alcáçovas, municipality of Viana do Alentejo, district of Évora.
It operates, at this time and since 2006, as a Space Tourism unit
Rural, in the Country House category.
With an excellent solar orientation (East, South, West) it also enjoys
of a privileged view over the Alentejo landscape.
The property is located on the urban boundary of the town of Alcáçovas (Capital of the Rattle, considered by UNESCO as World Heritage Site).
As for its location, two characteristics qualify it:
For one
side is very close to the town center and the services it offers
(commerce, restaurants, banking and public services, pharmacy, Chocalho Museum and Paço dos Henriques etc.) and on the other
side in an environment inviting to tranquility with absolute privacy.
It is also important to mention its proximity to urban centers of special
interest, such as 30 minutes from Évora (Cidade Museu - declared
UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986), 35 minutes from Montemor-o-Novo, and 1 hour and 35 minutes from Lisbon. In addition, it is 34 minutes
Alcácer do Sal and 55 minutes from the beaches of Comporta and about 1km from the famous National Road N2, the longest in Europe and that crosses Portugal from one to the other (Chaves - Faro)
The so-called Mother House with:
▪ Four double rooms all with a private toilet, one
large living room, smaller living room, dining room,
fully equipped kitchen and guest toilet.
Another body built is called Apartments.
This building consists of:
-Four apartments all consisting of one bedroom, installation
toilet, kitchenette with dining area and living room with sofa bed.

In addition to the rural outdoor space, there are other spaces
exteriors that deserve special attention:
▪ Large terrace equipped with an interconnecting pool
 the two buildings, allowing frank experiences
outdoors in absolute security and privacy;
▪ A continuous terrace along the apartments, allowing the creation of
autonomous zones for each of the guests;
▪ A terrace equipped with an outdoor oven, community for over 200 years, constituting the outdoor dining area, par excellence
