Donegal Beach House is situated five miles from the picturesque village of Dungloe on the road to Meenacross. It looks over Trawneagh Bay and there is a safe, sandy beach right on your doorstep. There is good fishing in the many nearby lakes and walks to suit all ages and interests.WALKING
The hills and cliffs of North West Donegal are still relatively unfrequented and little restraint is put on walkers. Nearby there are stunning unspoilt beaches, forest walks, quiet country roads and a wealth of historical sites to explore. The more energetic walker will discover the inaccessible spots; the dramatic cliff walks; the remote hills, glens and lakes which the driver misses.
BIRD WATCHING
The Rosses boasts a large number of habitual high cliff faces, fine sandy beaches, upland heath and bog and important wetland areas. These plus the estuaries of Gweedore and Gweebarra provide rich feeding habitat for large numbers of bird species.
