COVID-19 cleaning routine in place.
Number 12 is a 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom self catering 'holiday let' house centrally located in the Island's capital, Portree. This large house sleeps 6 guests comfortably. The house is situated in a small crescent of similar houses off the main road. Number 12 is a short walk to the village centre and shore (less than 5 minutes) and is the pefect base from which to explore the Island. Off-street parking for up to 4 cars is available on the large block-paved driveway.
This holiday let has an ensuite family room (double and single), a twin ensuite room, a twin room with adjacent shower room and WC and a further ground floor double bedroom also with adjacent shower and WC.

Number 12 has oil fired central heating. There is a large lounge and well-appointed kitchen with dining room. Guests are also free to use the large rear garden.

Beautiful 4BR home with plenty of space. Located near town center this home is perfect to use as a base on the Isle. Plenty of space for multiple cars. Wonderful restaurants nearby. But do make reservations as they can be busy. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future.

Nice location

House was conveniently located in town so close to store and restaurants. Plenty of parking for our two rental cars - a good base to tour around the Isle of Skye!Could not quite figure out the timing for the hot water in sinks - but at least the shower was hot.

When we had a minor issue with an appliance, the owners responded immediately to our message and then went above and beyond to address our concern right away (which is so very difficult to do on Skye). Best place!

This property was great! There were four adults that stayed and plenty of room to spread out (but not overly big). The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful. The town of portree is adorable but we mostly explored the surrounding areas. Parking is also very easy. We would definitely stay again.

Family Trip

We had a wonderful time visiting my mother-in-law’s hometown of Portree. This home was in a perfect location and suited our family quite well. It was clean and cozy. Our host was very responsive and thoughtful. We’d recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy the Isle of Skye!

Perfect home base in Skye

We had a lovely stay. We had more than enough space. We could easily walk to town from the home and there was a great yard for our kids to play. They even had a travel cot for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Scotland 2025

The flat is as listed. It was clean and in good condition. Location is amazing for walking to the town center. Queen beds are futon which wasn’t ideal but surprisingly tolerable to sleep on. Water heating is on a timer so you will need to adjust to get hot water in the bathroom and kitchen sinks. Not a big deal if you know what you’re doing. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Great quiet location. Nice to have a full house and yard to use.

We enjoyed our stay, and loved having a comfortable living room and dining area while we waited out the rain and a large backyard with a clothes line when it wasn’t raining! Located a short walk up the hill from the grocery store, it’s in very quiet neighborhood. We got spoiled with each having our own bathroom; the hot water is spotty for showers but even the teenagers didn’t mind.
