The Longfellow House makes for the perfect family and friends vacation, family reunion, weekend getaway, or corporate retreat. And we're pet friendly! The only guest house of our size in the victorian district that allows fury family members.

In our family since 1851, this historic vacation home combines old world Cape May charm with modern comfort and amenities, and soul calming privacy, so your family can enjoy a truly unique Cape May experience together.

Lovely house! The living room area is bigger than it looks in pictures. Kitchen was large, clean, and well-stocked. It was nice to be able to walk everywhere. Host offered helpful tips and suggestions for stay and was easy to contact.

Lovely vacation week

My family has been coming to Cape May for many decades and this was a perfect location and size for us. The first floor suite was perfect for those not wanting to use the stairs and the amenities were super. Being a veterinarian myself, I love that it is pet friendly as these rentals can be harder to find. The communication with and kindness of our host was top notch. We will definitely be returning!

For this occasion, we wanted a place where we could feel at home - definitely fit the bill. Plenty of 'family' space with individual bedrooms for privacy. Location was superb - quiet residential street, free street parking, close to the Mall and the beach. We really enjoyed our 'porch' time. Michael and Alix, the owners, were most responsive and beyond accommodating.

We had an amazing time celebrating our bride to be with 14 girls! There was plenty of room for everyone, very comfortable. The location was perfect, walking distance to all the things we had planned. We had the best time staying at the Longfellow house! The history of the house was so charming, and the house was large and spacious! The back deck and front porch are perfect places for morning coffees, and downtown area is a short walk down the street. Loved our stay!

This is a beautiful, historic home in Cape May. My family stayed for a week and loved every second. We had plenty of space for sleeping, eating, and hanging out. It was very helpful being in walking distance to the beach, shopping, Acme, and other activities. The owners were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. I would definitely suggest this property to others!

Great vacation!

Our family loved our stay at The Longfellow House! We rented the house as well as the extra suite, which was great! The location is wonderful and the street is very quiet with very little traffic. Michael and Alix could not have been more accommodating and detail oriented. We really appreciated the beach tags and the beach box!

Great location and charming Cape May house. Michael was great to work with texting to let us know we could get in early and provided great suggestions on how to get the most out of our Cape May vacation.
