The gites de Badaín are located in the small village of the same name. This small village forms part of Tella-Sin municipality, which is one of the 5 municipalities that form the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, in the heart of the Pirineo de Huesca.
It is the perfect location to visit exceptional natural setting such as Ordesa Park, Posets-Maladeta or Cañones y Sierra de Guara Park but also to enjoy a large range of cultural and patrimonial possibilities offered by the region of Sobrarbe (the popular architecture such as Ainsa, Tella, Sin or Serveto, the Roman, the rich gastronomy, etc.).
The proximity of France (24 km away) adds the attraction of other country with customs and different people. Also to the other side of the border, there are two ski slopes, Piau-Engaly and Saint-Lary with good sports conditions and excellent snow conditions.

What a wonderful place. The cottage is lovely and in an amazing location. Paco is a welcoming and friendly host - nothing was too much and we felt really welcome. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed and equipped to a high standard. With outstanding views, the river, plenty of space and the pool we couldn't have wished for anything more.

A beautiful property in a beautiful location

We had a fantastic stay at Paco’s property and it was more than we could have wished for. The house is very comfortable with all the facilities needed for a self contained stay (including vegetables freshly picked from the garden). The outside space is enormous, secluded with lovely views and the private pool offers the perfect way to cool down after a long summer hike. Paco was a lovely and generous host and there to help when needed. We plan to make a return visit!

One of the most beautiful places we have ever been to

The mill is beautifully situated in a quiet location, surrounded by beautiful nature and a lovely mountain stream. There is a vegetable garden we could use at will and the lovely coolness inside is very pleasant. Everything is available and suitable for a relaxing holiday. Francisco made our stay even more pleasant by always being there for us if there was anything. We will definitely come back. A big recommendation.

Charming, secluded property

One of the best places we stayed so far. An old mill transformed by the owner into a beautiful, well appointed house. Two bedrooms, each in their own area, with their own bathroom. The upstair bedroom has a window with stunning mountain views. The pool was a bonus, and appreciated after long treks. While it is secluded, it is a short walk from Lafortunada. The owner leaves nearby and is always available for help. A real gem in the Pyrénées.

Un lugar precioso / A Special Place

Queríamos comenzar el nuevo año rodeado de naturaleza y en un lugar especial, no nos decepcionó! La casa es preciosa y es obvio que fue rehabilitado de la mano de un arquitecto excepcional. Las vistas del paisaje están enmarcadas y celebran esta ubicación especial en lo que se siente como estas en su propio valle privado. Estábamos muy cómodos en la casa, no faltaba nada, la casa equipada con todo detalle. Pues solo falta decir gracias de nuevo a Paco, un encantador de persona. Espero que nos vemos en el futuro, volveremos seguro. We wanted to start the new year surrounded by nature and in one of our favourite places in the world, the Pyrenees, we were not dissapointed! The house is incredible and evidently re-built and extended under the direction of an exceptional architect. The views of the landscape framed perfectly, celebrating this special place. It really does feel like you have your own private valley, perfect isolation! The house is very comfortable and every detail has been thought about, we wanted for nothing! The owner, Paco, looked after us from the moment we arrived and it was an absolute pleasure chatting to him. That said, he left us to ourselves so we felt very much at home, we knew he was there if we needed him though. Einfach nur herrlich!

Ein absoluter Traum ist dieses Ferienhaus in einer historischen Mühle. Ruhig und abgeschieden hat man hier absolute Entspannung in einer atemberaubenden Umgebung. Ein Fluss direkt am Grundstück und die Berge rundherum sind wirklich wunderbar. Das allerbeste ist allerdings Gastgeber Francisco. Mit seiner sehr hilfsbereiten & freundlichen Art ist er stets bei allen Fragen erreichbar.

¡Hola Paco y futuros huéspedes del Molino! ¿Qué tal estáis? Bueno, ya habíamos escuchado muchas cosas increíbles sobre este lugar. Parece que todo el mundo que ha estado aquí ha tenido una experiencia fantástica ¡y nosotros lo corroboramos! El ambiente rústico y auténtico del molino y la belleza natural de Badain y los pueblos de alrededor son simplemente impresionantes. Por no mencionar que Paco es super amable y servicial, lo que hace que la estancia sea aún más agradable. Limpieza absoluta, también. Si estáis buscando un lugar relajante y auténtico para desconectar, este es vuestro sitio. Nosotros volveremos. Muchísimas gracias, Paco.
