About this property

La Pedraza Cottage 12 places near Pedraza with pool and private barbecue

In August 2017 we inaugurated the Reconstruction of a block and its farmhouse in Gallegos at the foot of La Sierra de Guadarrama, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Madrid, 25 minutes from Segovia, 8 km from Pedraza and 5 km from the jet Navafría and its natural pools.
Small town that offers us river, mountain and paths to discover.
The Pedraza Casa Rural A&B have been rehabilitated in 2017 maintaining the typology of the place preserving the Arabic tile, wood, mud and stone in its reconstruction, we also incorporate the artistic forging creating unique environments, large spaces where you can relax observing the mountains from large windows of more than two meters.
They are two complete rural houses that can be rented together or separately, La Pedraza A with a total of 8 seats plus extra beds can accommodate up to 12 seats and La Pedraza B with 4 seats plus extra beds can accommodate 6 seats.
The two houses each have their own garden, pool and private barbecue.
They are very well connected and have parking at the same access door.
The idea is for the host to feel the nearby Nature and enjoy the surroundings from a large warm and welcoming space.
We have a garden with lawn and pool as well as a barbecue area.
I hope that thanks to you, this lodging houses a thousand stories between its walls and the project will eventually take shape and mature like good wine.

Todo perfecto

Una casa rural preciosa, decorada con muy buen gusto y que cumple con nota con todo lo necesario (especialmente el espacioso salón-cocina). Niños y mayores también hemos disfrutado mucho del patio-jardín, con muy buenos muebles de terraza. La propietaria es amable, atenta y cumplidora, así que no se le puede pedir más (mil gracias por tu amabilidad Nuria). El entorno (como toda esa zona de Segovia) es maravilloso. En resumen, una muy buena casa para alojarse en la zona.

Hemos visto La Primera nevada del invierno desde una casa estupenda y acogedora!

Muchas gracias a la propietaria, que estuvo atenta en todo momento, no esperábamos ver la nieve desde Gallegos y disfrutar de un fin de semana tan bueno, dos en uno. La casa cumple todo, amplia buenas camas y unos ventanales a la montaña estupendos, nos ha encantado, ademas todo a estrenar, un lujazo. Los paseos son un descubrimiento y Pedraza y Segovia muy cerca. Todo de maravilla, gracias Nuria.

Volveremos nos encanto el lugar tan cercano a la sierra

Todo ha sido perfecto, el espacio y sobre todo que todo el mobiliario es nuevo y no les falta detalle. Las habitaciones amplias con camas muy cómodas. todo muy limpio. la barbacoa fenomenal. el pueblo de montaña muy chulo, la gente muy amable. volveremos gracias a la propietaria por su asesoramiento y amabilidad.

Estrenando una casa muy acogedora

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos alojados en la casa B de La Pedraza (la pequeña). Fuimos cuatro adultos y un niño y tenemos que decir que ha sido una experiencia muy grata. La casa es muy acogedora, llena de detalles preciosos que la hacen especial (las paredes, la ducha, la habitación abuhardillada...). Nuria, la propietaria, fue muy atenta con nosotros y estuvo pendiente de cuanto pudiésemos necesitar (como ejemplo deciros que durante nuestra estancia bajaron las temperaturas y se ofreció a venir a las 11 de la noche a traernos mantas, aunque no hizo falta, ya que la temperatura en el interior de la casa era muy agradable). Nosotros tuvimos la suerte de estrenar la casa y además pudimos hacer uso de la piscina (un gran detalle por parte de la propietaria), aunque no tanto como nos hubiese gustado ya que el tiempo no acompañó, y, al contrario de lo que he leído en otro comentario, considero que la temperatura del agua era muy buena. Es cierto que hay cosas mejorables (falta algo de menaje y los sillones podrían ser más cómodos) pero es algo fácil de solventar y que no le resta valor a la casa. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que, aunque las casas son totalmente independientes, los patios están separados por un muro de piedra muy bajito, lo que resta intimidad en esa zona. Algo que, no obstante, es bueno, si se alquilan ambas casas juntas En general nuestra experiencia ha sido muy buena y estamos deseando volver a pasar unos días allí. Gracias por todo, Nuria

Unas vacaciones estupendas, nos encanto

Hola escapamos del horrible calor de Madrid y hemos pasado unos días en La casa rural La Pedraza estupendos con un entorno genial, los niños se divirtieron muchísimo en la piscina, fresquito por la noche ideal, las camas nuevas y los electrodomésticos nuevos , ha sido como estrenar casa, los frutales de la finca nos dieron unas ciruelas buenísimas, nos encanto las amplias zonas, y la atención de la dueña fue muy buena, nos recibió con bebida en la nevera y un bizcocho casero, muchas gracias lo recomendaremos.

Demasiado caro en relación calidad/precio

Despiste the fact that the house was located in a lovely rural village and was spacious with good character, it lacked hospitality facilities for families with young children to accomadate comfortably for their holiday. Advitised was a washing machine however, it was not plumbed in and even if it was there was no where or equipment to dry clothes. No screen on the shower which led to endless mopping, which is not what you want to do on your holiday. Swimming pool is small and new but with no heating to it even in August it is extremely cold. The terrace with sun parasol broke constantly to the point where we were fed up of fixing it. Basically, without writing a full essay, it can be summed in highly over priced for what is offered. The owner was contacted on numerous of occasions but answered always with the same comment of the house is in progress for improvement. I therefore believe that if this is the case, it must be stated beforehand and the price needs to be reduced to match what is offered.

La Casa preciosa y la suerte de ser los segundos en inaugurarla!!

Nos decidimos por Gallegos, por estar al lado de del chorro de Navafria, con las piscis naturales y por estar tan cerquita de Pedraza, el sitio nos encanto y la casa esta super bien, todo a estrenar. Pero la piscina y la barbacoa se han llevado el 10!! Volveremos pronto, gracias por recibirnos con la nevera llena de cervezas y el bizcocho casero. Todo un detalle de su propietaria.
