Perfect for Pennine Way/Bowes Castle
If you're looking for a couple of days walking. This is perfect. Straight off the A66 (but no traffic noise). The cottage was well equipped and if you have mobility issues, an absolute dream as has everything: wheelchair lift, shower hoist and loads of space. The beds are all singles (pushed together if you ask for double) and fully electric. The only small thing is that you can't control the heating so it was a tad too hot for us. We had a great stay. Thank you!
