Family Retreat

We had a wonderful time at the secluded low bank beach front house. Joel was a great host who was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The view and location were excellent. You are close enough to everything but able to disappear to your own private beach front retreat when you need to decompress. It was really the best of both worlds.

House is beautiful and great proximity to Seattle.

House was very comfortable. The AC unit couldn’t keep the house cool because of the heat waves during the day but we were out exploring during that time anyway. I would recommend this property to anyone and would come back to stay again.

Beautiful home. No AC and we had unusually high temperatures.

The beach house is gorgeous and very secluded. You have to take a tram to get to property. The property is really not for older renters, lots of stairs and the tram. The owner lives next to property and is very attentive. Truly a beautiful place with gorgeous sunsets.

Secluded beach front-YES, and only minutes from SEA!

Pictures do not do this fantastic house justice. It is as advertised. 2 of the 4 in our group had a conference in Bellevue which took them about 45 minutes in traffic, but it was well worth it. We watched ocean going cargo ships go by at night and the sunset was fantastic. We have stayed in dozens of VRBO homes and this was about the best. Very relaxing. Only issue was that it did not have A/C, which is not uncommon for the Seattle area. With all the west facing windows it did get warm on the unusually warm days we had in August, but they have fans and it quickly cooled when the sun went down. Nights went into the 50s and days in mid-high 80s. Again, as I understand it, these warm days are very rare here. We would definitely stay here again.
