About this property

Missoula Deer Creek Cabin Retreat, HOT TUB, HIKING, BIKING, FISHING, FLOATING

Make your vacation AMAZING by staying at the Deer Creek Cabin.

The house itself has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and a full sized futon. The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized bed. We are renting this out to accommodate 4 adults comfortable, with or without kiddos, or 6 adults (4 whom don't mind sharing the master bedroom - it is huge and there is more than enough room)

Nestled in a valley almost to itself, this house sits on 4 acres. Open the window to your large master bedroom and listen to the creek below as you sleep. BBQ on the back deck while gazing at the trees, mountains and sky, while the birds sing (including wild turkeys) and see the occasional deer/moose/elk pass through the meadow below. When you stay at Deer Creek Cabin, you forget where you are. This is a place to go when you are looking for a little tranquil solitude, but still be close to amenities.

There is a hot tub on site, in the perfect setting to star gaze!

Deer Creek Cabin is 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Missoula and only minutes away from hiking/biking/cross country ski trails.

Far enough away, that it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to wake up in the morning and hit the road in any direction for adventure.

We are three hours from Glacier National Park, two hours from natural hot springs, 20 minutes from the center of town. We are also within 2 hours of 5 different ski hills and within an hour of dozens of lakes!!!!!

Great location for a week getaway, so much to do near here. Missoula is a hub for the outdoors, music, & breweries.

Every day should be an adventure!

We would be more than happy to help plan your next Montana vacation! Hope to hear from you!

I'm a Missoula Native. I was raised in the house right next door to this one, which is why I have such a strong tie to the area. I just love the solitude of the woods, with the convenience of being in town in a matter of 15 minutes.

Why they chose this property

I decided to build on this property because I love the area. Part of my heart will always be here, for it's the same property I grew up on. It's a magical place.

What makes this property unique

I love that I can literally walk out my door and go on a hike, a mountain bike ride, or a run. In the winter we can cross country ski and sled. It's the best feeling to have the great outdoors right at your doorstep.
