Chic Fun Palm Springs House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a beautiful home, and very close to many fun spots in Palm Springs. The only thing to flag is in the summer it gets so hot outside and the temp for all the bedrooms is locked to 72o which is pretty high when it's over 100 outside.

Spring Break

Great place to stay for a family get together on spring break with a young child! Really appreciate that Vince did a great job of providing a clean high chair. The decor, room setup and pool are amazing. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals as well. Only complaint was that the kitchen and bathrooms were a bit outdated. With that said, all were extremely clean.

Wonderful Stay

Clean, well appointed, and fabulous home. We received a call for early checkin and it was a great surprise. Our group of 6 was comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed in many Palm Springs homes over the years and Sunset Modern was very special, especially the outdoor area. There was a bit of a snafu with the A/C but the home did cool down eventually. The bbq is also gas powered not propane so don’t be a “Karen” and call like I did, read the helpful House Manual. The vent hood/fan didn’t work otherwise a wonderful stay!

A great weekend with friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came with friends for both business and pleasure. The home is beautiful and the pictures are accurate. Please be aware than when you arrive for a summer visit that the air conditioner will not be on and the home will be quite warm. We purchased three box fans and "donated" them to the property when we left. Sleeping was much easier them. :-) The house did cool down in the evenings and it was an enjoyable with a perfect location.

Jeff thank you for your feedback on SUNRISE MODERN. We have since remedied the air conditioning issue and the house is being upgraded with better windows/doors/glass to help with that summer heat. We hope you will come back to stay at the house again as we would be thrilled to host your next stay in Palm Springs. ALTAMIRA VACATION RENTALS

great pool

Cool house but the authentic vintage had some drawbacks if you looked too closely. The kitchen could have been stocked a little bit better, or with some nicer items, and we had trouble finding wash cloths for the kids. Just didn't seem quite as well stocked as some other PS houses we've rented. But that's just being picky. All-in-all the house was as advertised. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The pool was probably the best pool at any home we've rented in PS!! Loved the pool and we all had a great weekend relaxing in the sun! Thanks!

Coachella Weekend in Palm Springs

It was a very comfortable house for 5 of us. We are not crazy partiers so the sound ordinance was not a problem. I might suggest leaving some windex under kitchen sink in case anyone gets sunscreen on a glass door as you said that would cause extra cleaning fees. There is also only one small frying pan that we found to cook on unless you are baking or roasting something. It was nice to have coffee and other basic things to work with while we were there. The vent in the kitchen over the stove area goes on randomly and is very loud, looks old so wanted you to be aware of that too. Thank you.

The property was in great condition, clean and conveniently located. It worked well for an extended stay with adult family members. The property manager was very helpful with the check in process. Appreciated having an app on my phone to adjust the pool temperature as needed.
