    Winter break

    This is a great apartment which is very well equipped. It has everything you need and more. The air conditioning also provides heating in the winter and it is ideally placed for grocery shopping, bars and restaurants. Two small additions would make it feel safer for elderly holiday makers, the addition of grab rails by the toilet and shower in the bathroom and a shower mat as the shower tray is very slippery. Very pleased to holiday here and will be back!

    Tudo muito bom. O único senão, é o apartamento ficar em frente à um bar e todas as noites o barulho até bastante tarde. Sugeria que fosse instalado ar condicionado pois é um pouco quente, isso fazia sentido e resultava que não havia necessidade de dormir com as janelas abertas evitando assim o problema do barulho.

    Great location but very loud

    The location regarding the distance to the beach and supermarket (spar) is great - just five minutes to the large beach and a minute from small one. We didn't have problems with communication via email but telephone was more problematic due to language barrier. The apartment was very clean, with totally renewed bathroom. There was a large fridge, microwave and kitchen appliances, however the cupboards in the kitchen were quite old. The big minus is the lack of a/c or a fan. It would be ok with the windows opened, but there is a really noisy pub just on the other side of the road, open till late, so you need to choose between going to sleep very late or in a hot room (earplugs helped a little). Just a simple fan would make a difference. Even though the apartment was really clean there were ants (not many though) and we found two cockroaches (however I believe it is a common thing in this part of Portugal), we also saw a few on the street. It would be nice to have some cleaning products (there was only a washing liquid next to the sink). Overall Luz is a beautiful place and the apartment is very nice but maybe better for a low season as it should be less noisy.

    Mesmo junto à praia, não foi necessário carro nem carrinho para os bebés o que foi ótimo. Quanto à casa encontra-se com aspeto descuidado e a limpeza deixa um bocadinho a desejar... Não nos conseguimos livrar das formigas a semana toda...

    Trop de bruit !

    L’appartement en lui même est fonctionnel, propre, proche de la plage (2 minutes a pied) En revanche le gros point noir et pas des moindres, le pub en face ! Effectivement sur les photos, le joli banc que vous voyez est le pub, la porte d’entrée de l’appartement étant un gruyère, vous avez l’impression que le pub est avec vous ! Bruit de dingue, avec mes deux enfants en bas âges, une catastrophe, du bruit jusqu’à plus de 4h30 du matin ! Alors quand vous lisez le cahier de bienvenue avec les règles qui vous demande de ne plus faire de bruit à partir de 22h, j’avais envie de rire ! Cette appartement est propre, salle de bain neuve, mais pour des jeunes, pas pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants ! Je suis déçue et renouvèlerai pas cette location.

    Tinha tudo para ser bom... mas não foi!

    Deixamos este comentário ao proprietário, 2 dias antes de sair, ao qual nunca reebemos resposta. "Queremos deixar alguns apontamentos sobre o apartamento. Hoje quando estavamos para grelhar deparamo-nos com o que podem ver nas fotografias anexas. Não sabemos se são dejetos de baratas, se são dejetos de ratos, no entanto não nos parece muito sanitário. Tivemos que limpar o chão da casa toda com lixívia para nos livrarmos de uma vaga de formigas. Tivemos igualmente que desentupir a válvula de escoamento do chuveiro que estava cheia de cabelos e não escoava adequadamente a àgua. Os armários da roupa não foram usados por nós pois além de cheirarem a humidade (mofo) tinham teias de aranha no interior. Não nos parece igualmente que esteja de acordo as normas usar um tubo de plástico simples (mangueira de rega) na válvula de segurança do cilindro da àgua quente. O exaustor podia ter uma tripla ou uma tomada extra para estar ligado em vez de ter que ligar e desligar alternadamente na mesma ficha com o cilindro da àgua (coisa que não fizemos pois isso pode desprogramar o cilindro), nós optámos por simplesmente não usar o exaustor. Infelizmente não iremos repetir a estadia, nem aconselharemos a estadia, pois apesar da boa localização do imóvel, não reúne as condições necessárias de habitabilidade." Acrescentamos ainda que a casa é um rés-do-chão situado numa rua de bares, o que significa que há bastante barulho até altas horas da noite. A localização/praia é excelente, a localizaçãp/descanso infelizmente não. Podiam ao menos ter colocado um ambientador na casa para que quando as pessoas entram nela não levem logo com o cheiro intenso a humidade. Tivemos que arejar as nossas malas quando chegamos a casa. Não dá bom aspeto ter uma cozinha com os armários com as portas quase arrancadas, todas desalinhadas e a fechar mal. São coisas simples que se resolvem com uma chave de fendas. Agradecemos a amabilidade da cama extra que colocaram, mas não foi usada pois o colchão tinha tantas molas soltas que era impossível dormir nela.

    Escolha perfeita para férias de verão

    Ótima relação qualidade preço e proximidade à praia são os valores em destaque. Alojamento perfeito para uma família como nós (dois adultos e uma criança). Cuidado no arranjo da casa. Casa de banho nova. Cozinha pequena, mas funcional e com tudo o que seria necessário. Supermercados próximos. Em algumas noites houve mais barulho no pub em frente, mas não foi um fator que nos perturbasse muito.
