We were quite happy with this property and our hosts were warm and welcoming. It felt like home away from home. The apartment was neat and comfortable with local amenities nearby. We will definitely be going back again.
Property was excellent and host host was excellent. Photos of the property were misleading as there was no garden/scenic view through any window and nowhere to sit outside other than opposite next door

Hi David apologies for that, I shall amend the pictures. The garden has been available however; through various pieces of web advice and guidance due to Covid we felt inclined to remove it as part of the offering. Hopefully, we'll be able to offer it up again at some point. Most people don't see it as a requirement as they're out early and back late but you are right, the advert could be seen as slightly misleading at the moment.
Brilliant location - quiet apartment/flat in rural area. Within 30-60mins of many fab Cornish places - Eden Project, Jamaica Inn, North coastline (Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow). Some fabulous family activities close by. Township only 1mile away.
Clean & tidy flat, with all the amenities needed, full kitchen, bathroom, pull-out sofa & hosts provided an airbed for 2nd teen. Very comfortable.
Lovely hosts!! Really helpful with local info & suggestions & lots of info in the apartment. They put a milk in the fridge for us, ready for our arrival & we’re very welcoming.
Highly recommended!!

Thank you for the lovely review. Hope the rest of your UK vacation goes well

Sorry that you felt it was a little noisy in the evenings. As advertised the apartment is within our family home so you would get a bit of family noise as you would in any hotel.. The nightly price, we think reflects this. Also I would confidently say that any background noise from us would have ceased when the children went to bed no later than 08:30pm... Again, we're sorry that you felt that it was a little to noisy for you, however; we're glad that you enjoyed the facilities and thank you ever so much for doing as much cleaning up as you did. It was nice to walk into the apartment and see it looking so clean and tidy.. We hope you had a good journey back home. Jason
We had a lovely stay here, great comfortable bed with nice linen and very importantly comfortable pillows. The bedroom is large so plenty of room for our suitcases.
The cottage is very cute and cosy and had everything that we needed for a short stay.
The farm fresh eggs were most welcome :-).
Great communication with the owner as well.

Thanks for the review.. Hob now fixed, fuse blew in the plug behind the oven!! Flush also sorted; thanks for your patience. Jason
Very clean, good dog- friendly beach @ Seaton , nr Looe. Access to both north & south coasts. Sadly no enclosed dog space out doors. I had 2 dogs with me. Owners very friendly. Local shops @ Liskeard.
A lovely very welcoming property, very cosy and in an ideal location for exploring Cornwall. We enjoyed it that much we want to stay there next time we visit
My children and I had a lovely cosy stay at Robins Nest. The apartment was clean and the owner was very helpful, supplying an air bed for us all to be able to sleep in the same room and even sourcing some scales for me to use when cooking.
Check in was simple and communication was superb. I would highly recommend.
It was my second time and it exactly as before, nice and peaceful. I love this place for this original cottage style. I will come back again. Thank you.

An excellent accommodation , I'll try to come back next year.
An excellent place to stay. For someone looking for peace and tranquillity, this is definitely number one. Well equipped with independent entry. The best for small family or couples with only one desire to get proper rest before next day of exploring Cornwall. Only 25minutes from the Eden Project perfect location. If it could be possible I would give 10stars as I think 5is not enough. Thank you.

About the host
Hosted by Jason & Phillippa
I work as a Business Manager in the UK Nuclear Industry; prior to that I was a Royal Navy Submarine Officer for 20+ years. Lancashire is my ancestral home however; we've been in Cornwall since 1993. My wife ''Phillippa' is a District nurse. Married in 1992 we first met in Gosport whilst I was serving on Diesel submarines at the long since closed HMS Dolphin submarine base.
We have 3 grown up children (B,B,G): Engineer; Medical Student & Naval Rating and we have one Grandchild (B). We also have a black labrador called Opie; 3 cats and 7 chickens. We enjoy the peace and tranquility of our Cornish home and garden. We love to walk the dog and watch the plants grow in our spare time. We are a very close family, even with those who don't live nearby; we always have family about the place and we love it.
We decided to rent out one of the apartments in our home because our children have all flown the nest and we get a great sense of satisfaction out of others enjoying the Cornish countryside.
Why they chose this property
We are situated half way between the north and south Cornish coasts at the foot of beautiful Bodmin Moor. We are about 4 miles from the highest village on the moor 'Minions' and the beautiful Cheesewring quarries. Our apartment is in the peaceful hamlet of Merrymeet; it doesn't get much quieter!
What makes this property unique
Peace, quiet, tranquility Ease of access to both coasts and all the Cornish attractions 2 miles from the main A38 1.5 miles from the main town of Liskeard and all its amenities.
