Great place!

This is an excellent place to stay! It’s a beautiful condo and the owners are so nice and make sure you have everything you need before you get there. It is fully stocked and has everything you could possibly need so you don’t have to bring a ton of things from home. It truly felt like being at home! The location is perfect. It is not crowded at all and there are a few restaurants, ice cream places and shops right across the street. I would highly recommend!

Anything you could ever need

This condo was stocked with everything, even things we didn’t know we needed. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and the whole building was very clean. Easy access to the beach. Great location as well. Beds were very comfortable as well as the furniture.

Beautiful

Condo was well decorated and clean, kitchen had everything, furniture was nice and comfortable. The view is amazing, however it is a long walk to the beach. Pack your binoculars to watch the dolphins. The beach is clean and not crowded.

Best Spring Break Ever

This condo is in a central location on the island, but had the feel of an off-the-beaten-path getaway. We stayed during Spring Break. The beach was deserted at times, or shared with a few families and couples at others. The unit was in beautiful condition and was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Communication with the owner before and during our stay was seamless.

Perfect

Condo was a great family getaway. It was beautifully decorated and every detail was provided even when traveling with a 5 yr old. Kitchen well stocked with great appliances and tools needed along with items to carry to the beach such as towels, umbrella and cart. Granddaughter enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pool when we wasn’t at the beach. Will definitely recommend.

My sister and I are both senior citizens and mostly interested in just a different view. The secure parking, elevators, baggage carts and extra wide balcony was critical for us! We had multple comfortable beds and even two recliners to make for a very comfortable stsy.

Simply glorious

There’s a reason this place has 5 stars. Ocean view, on the beach, phone charging station, beach chairs, a wagon, lots of blankets for lounging...lots of little touches that make it a good stay. Dianne also was very communicative and responsive when the island power went out and we were perplexed bc some lights in the condo were still on and we thought we had blown a fuse. (We had not, and power came back on shortly thereafter.) 10/10 would stay again!

Amazing trip, awesome condo

My family and I had a wonderful time in Dauphin Island, and couldnt haved loved staying in this condo more. Plenty of room, layout worked well for our family of 4, the amenities (including carts for loading, heated indoor pool, and the outside pool were a nice reprieve after a day at the beach), and the TVs/WiFi/DVDs worked well. The family room is super cozy for movie nights, and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. We appreciated the laundry, large bathrooms, and the helpful info before arriving - ate at Islanders, visited the Estuarium, and drove down to the end of the island to see the amazing sunset. All in all a wonderful family vacation and much needed relaxation for us all. Thanks again for letting us use your space!

One of the best experiences!

We just returned from a 5 night stay, and it was fantastic. I had great communication with Dianne about checking in and out, and the property was exactly what we expected. Holiday Isle is a very nice building. The elevators were fast, parking was great, and the amenities were all clean. There is parking up to the 3rd floor, so close parking was an added benefit for our family of 6. There are so many nice touches to this condo that makes it stand out from others. The balcony area is large and there is a plenty of beach gear to use on your stay. That was such a nice perk for us and saved us a lot of space while traveling. There were beach chairs, some toys for our kids, boogie boards, and an umbrella we were able to use. The walk to the beach is longer than some places we’ve stayed in the past, but this is part of staying in condos on Dauphin Island. However once you’re on the beach, they are uncrowded and peaceful, unlike some other places we’ve stayed. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, the rooms were spacious, and our 4 kids (ages 9 and under) had plenty of room. We never felt cramped or crowded. This was our 2nd trip to Dauphin Island, and we’re in love with this place. I hope to return in the future, and if we do I will certainly try to rent this same condo again.

Holiday at Dauphin Island

Holiday Isle is an older but very clean condo. The rooms are spacious, the pools are nice and there is ample free covered parking. Unit 410 was perfect! The owner has equipped the condo with all kinds of "perks" to make your stay easier. Hidden gem: boogie boards and beach wagons on the balcony. There are extra blankets, pillows, coffee filters, sweeteners, soap, toilet paper, just to name a few for your convenience. One negative: is the beach is not just a few steps away... it is actually 1430' feet away (1/2 mile) but there is a boardwalk to take you most of the way out there. Holiday Isle needs to invest on making the boardwalk longer like their neighbors but for the meantime, you need to plan to walk 1430' to the beach. There is beach service, so I recommend using it, so you do not have to pack your umbrella and chairs. You CAN NOT leave items on the beach overnight. There are 12 chairs by the pool, and they cannot be left unattended (no saving a chair with a towel). The outdoor pool is part shade during the day so you can plan the day by the pool. Dauphin Island has about 8 restaurants which provide "beachy" food. The food and alcohol on the island are fairly expensive so it is best to come prepared. There is very little for children to do so be prepared to entertain them. Street legal go carts are the preferred transportation around the island so look into renting one, it is more exciting. We recommend Dauphin Island and will be back, but we will be more prepared next time with food, drinks and we will rent a go cart or bicycle to get around. HISTORY: Dauphin Island lost or maybe gained land during Katrina and the shoreline was "steps" away from Holiday Isle and water was under the pier prior to 2005. So, talk to the locals, learn the history, it is a great, quiet place to enjoy sand, sun and family.

What a lovely stay! This condo has everything you need, and is fully stocked for whatever cooking you may want to do. The view is just as described, and the bed...so comfortable.Dauphin Island has a special place in my heart, and I adored staying here.

Great Island Gettaway

The rental unit is in a good middle of the island location. Easy to get around. The unit was itself was nice and clean. Plenty of space to hang out in when not off exploring the sites. Easy beach access. The pool and sauna were nice and the weight room is a decent facility. The only downside is that the weight room is not available to guests on Sunday and the sauna ran intermittently. We would stay there again.

Great Beach Trip

We spent 3 nights at this clean and well stocked condo. Everything worked great and the host - Dianne - was perfect at communicating with us. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. The walk to the beach was a bit long but easy and you were still close enough to hear the waves from the units large balcony. Dauphin Island itself is great - wish there were a few more good seafood restaurants but the pizza place across the road from the condo was very good as were the bakery and the waffle place.
