This cottage was my base for the Solar eclipse expedition in central Spain in August 2026 and ended up being much better than I had envisioned. The small cottage had all amenities needed for stay in a remote central Spain village and was close to the main highway. Note that the village is about 30 mins from the nearest city (Soria) and for any shopping you will need to make the drive to Soria. But there is a Gas station about 8 mins walk from the house and provides small sundry items for your stay, plus the gas station has a good highway restaurant next to it - do you breakfast, lunch, dinner needs are taken care of there.Maria Victoria was an excellent host, helping me plan for my eclipse photo shoots and recommended spot an around the area of visit. But I the house backyard ended up being one of the best spots for photos and I loved the convenience of it.

Amazing host and house

What an amazing place. We were originally booked in to the apartment but ended up in the house attached. Victoria was a fantastic host. The house and apartment are perfectly situated for walks to the lake or short drives to it and other local areas of interest. We will definitely be back

FIN DE SEMANA EXCEPCIONAL EN LA CASA NUEVA

Hemos pasado un grupo de 14 amig@s, el fin de semana en La Casa Nueva, sin palabras, desde el primer contacto con Victoria y el recibimiento también con su marido, inmejorable.Al entrar en la casa ya se intuye lo que después se puede decir, NO falta ningún detalle en la casa, limpio todo muy cuidado de lo mejor que hemos estado en turismo rural, RECOMENDABLE 100%, perfecto en todos los aspectos (menaje, camas, baños,) y gracias por el detalle de la tarta, seguro que si seguís así la gente os visitara y lo tendréis siempre lleno. Si volvemos por la zona seguro repetiremos. GRACIAS.

perfecta escapada en familia

Cualquier ocasión es buena para escaparse a Soria. Esta semana santa hemos pasado cinco días geniales en Abejar, hospedados en la Casa Nueva. Trato familiar y exquisito, y magnífica ubicación para las excursiones: Soria capital, Vinuesa-Laguna Negra, Burgo de Osma, barranco Río Lobo... Elección perfecta. Habrá que repetir!!

MERECE LA PENA

Merece la pena el entorno y por supuesto la casa, las fotos que aparecen en la página web no hacen justicia a la casa "mucho mejor en la realidad", además está perfectamente equipada, la terraza no pudimos usarla debido al mal tiempo pero prometemos volver para hacer una barbacoa y disfrutar de ese maravilloso patio, eso si, a pesar del frío exterior, dentro de la casa se estaba de maravilla, la calefacción estupenda, la regulábamos nosotros a nuestro gusto y para más satisfacción hay una estufa de pellets que es una gozada. Está muy bien situada y comunicada para hacer excursiones por la zona más turística de Soria, Laguna Negra, Playa Pita, Calatañazor, Numancia, cañón del río Lobos y Soria capital a solo 25 km., la propietaria Victoria es encantadora y siempre pendiente para lo que pudiésemos necesitar, está claro que volveremos.

FIN DE SEMANA INOLVIDABLE

Hola: Hemos estado en la Casa Nueva un grupo de familia el fin de semana de la gran nevado. Será un recuerdo inolvidable. Hacer mención especial a Victoria, un encanto de mujer que tiene la casa a punto y en su punto... jeje. Con el fiío que hacia tuvo mucho interés y se preocupe de que tuvieramos la casa, bien grande calentita. El temporal que se avecinaba era bueno. Es una zona muy bonita que te permite ir a muchos sitios... Vinuesa, Soria, Laguna Negra y para un grupo grande está muy bien acondicionada, no le falta detalle. Victoria nos recibió con un bizcocho para el desayuno hecho por ella. Es una pareja muy atenta y que quiere agradar en todo momento a sus clientes. Sin duda repetiremos. Victoria, Hilario un placer haber estado en vuestra " Casa Nueva" hasta la próxima.Isabel.

Simplemente: perfecto

Estuvimos alojadas en el apartamento durante 5 días. Victoria y su marido estuvieron siempre atentos para que no nos faltase de nada. Se preocuparon por hacer que nos sintiéramos como en nuestra propia casa. Cuando llegamos teníamos lo necesario para el desayuno de dos días. También nos proporcionaron folletos y mapas con información turística de la zona. El apartamento tiene de todo. No le falta ni un solo detalle. Está situado en una zona del pueblo muy tranquila. Por las noches no hay ruidos que impidan dormir. Han sido unas vacaciones perfectas para relajarnos. Justo lo que necesitábamos. Si volvemos a Soria, es muy probable que volvamos a alojarnos aquí!! ¡¡Gracias!!

Fin de semana rural - ¡Mejor imposible!

Aprovechamos los últimos días de vacaciones del verano 2017 para visitar la "Soria Verde". Nos alojamos en "La Casa Nueva" de Abejar. Muy muy recomendable para pasar unos días inolvidables en familia. La casa rural muy acogedora, las habitaciones muy limpias y muy bien decoradas, en un entorno tranquilo e ideal para el descanso. Y lo mejor, el trato con los dueños Victoria e Hilario, unos anfitriones muy atentos y muy simpáticos. No nos falto nada. Si tenéis la ocasión de pasar por esta parte de Soria tan bonita, no os arrepentiréis de alojaros en un sitio así.
