A beautiful family house in Alkmaar, located near the beaches of Bergen and less than forty minutes in a row from Amsterdam. The house is located within walking distance of the center of Alkmaar. The train station and many other forms of public transport are within walking distance of the house.

Cycling to the beach is a wonderful trip of around 40 minutes. Or how about cruising through the canals with a boat? Alkmaar is sometimes called small Amsterdam with its characteristic canals. Museums, cafes, theater, football stadium, nature, this city really has it all.

Alkmaar itself is famous for its cultural sights and the world's oldest cheese market.

Living in Alkmaar for 4 years now, with my 10 year old son. Living in a quiet part of town with loads of room for kids to play. Still on walkind distance of the centre of town. We love to sup through town or sail true the canals in the town. Also we love to bike to the beach. An lovely modern family house near everything, but still very peasefull.

We like to travel and share our house with other families, so they can enjoy this lovely spot. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

My grandparents are real cheeseheads (people who are born in Alkmaar) and so now we also came back to our roots.

What makes this property unique

The kids can play outdoors, there is so much nature and water. The house is a perfect mix between a quiet family house, nature and townlife within walking distance.
