A fantastic stay right by some beautiful walks and the lodge was very cozy and clean, it would’ve been 5 star had there been a local supermarket and more amenities at the lodge, so you may want to get provisions before heading to the lodge. But otherwise a very peaceful and enjoyable experience
Good base for going into Plymouth and surrounding villages ie Looe and Porperro, lodge is well equipped, comfy bed and local pub is handy if weather is poor, overall a great get away at a decent price 👍🏻
The cabin was in a lovely situation, the hosts respected our privacy but were quick to respond to any questions or minor issues that arose. So many things to see and do in the area - moors, gorges, waterfalls, viaducts with stunning views, etc.
Very handy pub just a short walk up the road.
We really loved how close this property was to the river Pym, Cadover Bridge and the moor. We walked more than 40km whilst staying here and we never had to drive anywhere (apart from shopping). The lodge is compact but has almost everything you might need, even basic cooking appliances.
