From Piraeus port you have the access to all the islands of Saronikos for daily trips and the islands of Aegean Sea for longer. The ancient fortress of Aigosthena is near village Porto Germeno, 450m by the sea. It was an ancient fortress that remained on use in the early Byzantine period and maybe later. It is rather in the best condition among the ancient forts that are preserved in Greece. In a distance of 16 km (15 minutes) you can visit the village of Villia in which belongs our village, one of the highest areas of Kithairon mountain. It is a place with a famous climatic condition especially in summer time. It is famous also for the traditional taverns with all the kinds of meat .A lot of café’s, pizzas, mini-markets, bakeries, butcher shops, bank, medical centre, chemist shop etc. Take your photos from our balcony at evening sunset.
