Tex’s Ranch House faces a picturesque 5-acre fishing pond, surrounded by over 100 acres of natural beauty. Located between Pat Mayse Lake and the Red River, this property offers ample space for relaxation and activities for all ages.

Enjoy various activities on the property, including fishing in the stocked pond, swimming in the heated in-ground pool, playing pool or shuffleboard, and relaxing on the back patio by the fire pit with views of the pool, pond, and beautiful pasture.

The house comfortably sleeps 13 people with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It features Dish Network, WiFi, and TVs in every room. The furnished game room, fully equipped kitchen (with 2 full-size refrigerators, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, and Keurig), washer/dryer, and carport with ample parking for several vehicles and trailers add to the convenience. *Two full-size memory foam mattresses and two queen-size inflatable mattresses are available for additional sleeping capacity.

-Sunbathe, swim, or float in the in-ground swimming pool, or relax under the lanai. The pool is heated as needed from May to September and can be heated from October to April for an additional charge.
-Fish in the fully stocked pond (bass, catfish, crappie)—bring your gear!
-Bring your 4-wheelers or ATVs and explore 25+ miles of county roads.
-Enjoy the pool table and shuffleboard table.
-Use the wood fire pit (firewood included), charcoal grill, and 36” Blackstone griddle.
-Bring your boat or jet ski to explore nearby Pat Mayse Lake.

Our favorite place

We love this place and it was our second time staying here. Definitely want to make this our yearly summer vacation. The kids love the pool, the game room and fishing. It’s a prefect location to get away from every day life and enjoy the outdoors.

We absolutely loved staying at this house! There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was clean. We drove in from Illinois for a family wedding and were able to get in the house early. The lake was wonderful and I caught the largest bass I’ve ever caught! The horses came to the fence and we enjoyed visiting with them. The house is secluded and quiet. It was just a short drive from the wedding reception. I hope that we can stay there again sometime!

This place was awesome. Having the Pool, fire pit with wood and the fishing pond were all a nice bonus! The owners were the nicest people and made sure everything was perfect. 15 minutes from the casino if that’s your thing. Less than 5 minutes from the lake if you want to bring your boat.

Our stay was peaceful and full of relaxation time. The house is very spacious and comes with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We were a bit disappointed that the pool never got warm enough to swim in. Apparently, the colder outside it is, the less likely that the machine will be able to warm the water enough for comfort. Only two bold kids swam in there but it was very chilly. The views are wonderful, the owners are responsive and the location was good.

My large family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well-stocked home SO much! Everyone loved fishing (caught a lot!), and the grandkids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the heated pool! The setting is so peaceful, the perfect getaway!

GREAT family trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at this ranch! Hosts greeted us the first day and answered any questions we had. With 3 generations of family - it was wonderful to be able to keep us ALL busy! The pool, the pond, the pool table, and the firepit were all used throughout the weekend! Everyone especially loved seeing all the livestock in the fields. Thanks again for a very memorable weekend for our entire family!

Loved our stay at Tex’s Ranch. What a great home. They had everything we needed, plus some we didn’t even realize we needed. The outside was beautiful! The heated pool was so much fun for the young kids, as well as the teenager and adults. One of the best things was the fishing in the pond. The kids caught one fish after another. The adults caught only a couple, but only because they were so busy helping the kids with their catches. Another favorite was the animals. Loved when they came up to the fence, and had such a good time feeding one of the horses that came by each day. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

This house was absolutely perfect! We had a retreat and the views were so pretty! The house was so clean and stocked with all the essentials we needed! The owners are so kind! The heated pool was perfect for the rainy days! And I would absolutely stay here again!

This place was amazing. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts were fantastic. There was a storm one night that caused power outage for the entire county. The host showed up with a generator. Fortunately, the repairs were done quickly by the power company. The entire place was so peaceful. My kids (teenagers) and wife love watching and petting the cows and horses. Fishing was also great. We caught lots of bass and catfish. The largest was a 20 lb blue cat. We plan to return if available.

Perfect Weekend at Tex's Ranch

The house is beautiful, and we had plenty of room for our family reunion. We enjoyed the swimming in the pool, fishing in pond and playing lost of games inside and out. The kitchen has plenty of space and is well-stocked. Highly recommend this house and already planning to go back next year!

Family Reunion

For my family, it was a really good place for a reunion. Out of town guests did not have to go to a motel. For family that lives close by, it was just a short drive. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the animals. We plan on doing it again next year.

Amazing Time at the Farm House

Our group of 10 plus our dog had a wonderful time at this home. So many things to do, from the game room to the pool. We were never bored. Being able to sit outside and just admire the beauty of your surroundings. It was very peaceful. Highlight of the trip was being able to feed the horses and go fishing.
