What a shame

This apartment is in a great location , with an awesome balcony and access to an amazing pool. Sadly the owners seem to be having problems with the cleaners and the property cleanliness was poor. That said the property is also over stuffed with mismatched furniture that may well suit the m as a family , but is not conducive for renting out. As the saying goes less is more

Bel appartement avec grande terrasse et piscine, situé près de commerces et à 20 minutes à pied de la plage. Dommage cependant que la climatisation ne fonctionne pas et que la propreté laisse à désirer (réfrigérateur non fait, meubles de cuisine pas très propre , poussière, poubelle avec reste de résidus alimentaires, etc ). Nous sommes cependant accueillis à notre arrivée avec une bouteille de rosé. Délicate attention de la part du propriétaire. Nous avons cependant passé un agréable séjour. N oubliez pas les vélos. Pistes cyclables qui permettent l accès au port, à la plage etc..

Appartement spacieux à proximité immédiate des commerces et médecin Jolie piscine avec bip d’acces ( un seul bip c’est trop juste car lorsque l’un est à la piscine on ne peut plus le rejoindre sauf en hurlant au travers de la haie ...) Très belle terrasse avec mobilier de jardin vieillissant ( matelas de la chaise longue totalement déchiré en deux ). Équipement conforme au descriptif : attention malgré la climatisation visible sur une photo celle ci n’est Pas en état de fonctionnement uniquement des ventilateurs Ensemble plutôt positif Seul gros bémol : l’etat Inadmissible de propreté Impossible de marcher pieds nus tellement c’etait sale, des croutes de pain au sol à notre arrivée ( alors qu’on paye un forfait ménage non négociable) J’ai prévenu les propriétaires dès mon arrivée et envoyé des photos : ils devaient se rapprocher de la femme de ménage et revenir vers moi mais aucune nouvelles depuis ...

Great location and spacious apartment

We just wanted to say a big thank you for a wonderful stay in your apartment at St Cyprien Plage in August 2016. We had a fantastic time and thought the apartment was in a great location and loved the enormous balcony. The Centre Commercial was a real eye opener...we ate there, shopped there and got take away. You really didn't need to go anywhere else. And to be so close to the apartment was a real bonus. The girls loved the pool and we also went to the beach via Le Petit Train a few times. St Cyprien is a lovely location, previously unknown to us. On our way back we got the euro bus to Perpignan train station rather than paying the 55 euro taxi fayre. Brilliant, and right outside the apartment complex. In short, we had a fabulous time and would love to go back and explore the region even further.

Lovely apartment

We have just returned from a two week stay in this lovely apartment. The apartment is clean, well maintained and very spacious. The shared pool was a big hit with our children aged 11 and 9. It is quite large, always had plenty of sun beds free and was very clean and well maintained. The shops and restaurants located next to the apartment covered all your needs, although the port area is only a 20 min walk with lots more shops and places to eat. Aqualand was only 15 mins walk and we had a great day there with the children. Marie and Paddy were really helpful and it was a delight to meet them when we arrived - they couldn't have been more friendly and obliging. Highly recommend this apartment and area.

EXCELLENT APARTMENT, WELL SITUATED

We have just had a wonderful two-week holiday in this apartment. Everything was just perfect. The apartment is well maintained and spotlessly clean, very spacious and well laid out. We were a party of four adults (two couples) and could easily escape each other if we wished. The balcony is something else. It is so big with plenty of comfortable furniture that you never wanted to leave that sun on your face every evening. Marie and Paddy were exceptional in their communication and making us feel at easy with our booking, from our initial deposit to paying the final balance. Nothing was too much trouble to them, especially with the many questions we asked before we got there.The local shops are very good, a stones throw away, ordering a takeaway pizza to buying your fresh bread in the morning, there is everything you need to make your holiday stress free. The petit train to the port and back is only 4 euros for a return. Makes it so easy to get around without having to drive. There was so much to see and do in the surrounding areas. Definitely a must to revisit and will certainly be in touch again with Marie and Paddy to stay in their lovely apartment again. Jimi, Gillian, Pete and Jane

An excellent location for this lovely apartment.

A spacious apartment for two people in a good ,quiet location. We were very impressed with the amenities both in the apartment itself, and the convenient shops situated below the complex. A lovely flat area, there were lots of places to walk as well as having the local bus stop and le petit train stop nearby. The pool was a lovely bonus and rarely overcrowded. Marie and Paddy were most helpful when we were let down with another property and were prompt and efficient in sorting things for us with only a few days notice. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this lovely area of France. Our thanks to the owners.

Excellent location and facilities - we are coming

The property was everything we had hoped it would be and Marie and Paddy were even more helpful than we had hoped or expected. It was our first stay in this apartment, but it certainly won't be our last. We are going back in September and are really looking forward to our stay.

We’ve just had a brilliant two-week holiday in this apartment. The accommodation is fabulous with spotlessly-clean, well-maintained, spacious rooms and lovely furniture. We made great use of the enormous balcony which could comfortably seat at least ten people. The owners couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The local amenities are extensive and it was very convenient to have a variety of shops (baker, greengrocer, butcher and fishmonger) and restaurants two minutes walk away. There are beaches, parks and open spaces within easy walking distance and we really enjoyed our stroll around the harbour each evening. The apartment is an excellent base for exploring the Pyrenees, the Vermillion Coast and the rest of Languedoc-Roussillon with its beautiful beaches, fabulous castles and stunning scenery. We certainly intend going back to the apartment and have recommended it highly to our family and friends.

For the best omelette try La Palliote on the marina and Ascolis in the Commercial Centre for excellent Italian food and would recommend Mari Monte, one of their best dishes. L'And a Lou just a minute from the apartment is fantastic for takeaway Paella and Pizza to enjoy with a glass of wine on the best balcony ever. We have already booked for two months next year and are literally counting the days. Thank you Marie and Paddy for our best holiday ever.

Within 3 minutes walk ,there is a buzzing little shopping centre which from April through to mid-October offers the following: Good convenience store Casino Bar, some music Tapas 2 Bakers & a Patisserie; Fish Shop (wet and cooked); Butcher and cooked meats; 2 Greengrocers 2 Pizza Places (inc. take-away); 4 good restaurants; salad and creperie and coffee shop; Newsagent and, if needed, a doctor's surgery. Out of season the butcher, baker, fishmonger and greengrocery also selling wines are open daily 08.00 - 12.30.
Just five minutes by car, the port offers shops, boutiques, restaurants, etc in plenty throughout the year. On foot it’s a pleasant and easy twenty minute appetiser! A few minutes stroll in the opposite direction, the four star Hotel Ile de La Lagune and Restaurant L’Almandin provide gastronomy and wines for those who want to spoil themselves.
