On quiet street, surrounded by oak covered hillsides, wineries, and world class horse ranches. Lots to do here: beaches, kayaking, hiking and wine tasting. or just sit and read a book and listen to the birds! Come meet our goats, Cody and Cooper. Great place and wonderful hosts

The rural setting is quiet and a welcome respite from the highway.The bunkhouse is small but very comfortable and well equipped. It had everything we needed for our stay, including a patio area where we could set up our barbecue. The variety of birds and friendly goats were a welcome addition. However, by far the best thing was the kindness of our hosts, Steve and Mary. They knew exactly what to do when I had an unexpected medical problem - I don't know what we would have done without their help. Great people and a great spot. We strongly recommend it. Quick Central Coast Getaway

I took a mini vacation to the Central Coast, wanted peace and quiet, and new places to explore. Steve and Mary's place was just right. Everything you could need- fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with fluffy towels and toiletries on hand in case you forgot anything. The goats were super cute, and I especially enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and evening, enjoying the sun and quiet. Their home is close to everything you might need nearby-- short drive to San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, the SLO airport, Lake Lopez, and numerous vineyards. Also close to nearby hiking-- we visited Montana de Oro State Park, and did a quick hike to Little Falls (near Lake Lopez). As noted by other reviewers, the bed is a bit noisy when moving, and a bit soft. All in all a perfect mid-week getaway, with many indoor and outdoor activities nearby. We'll definitely be back !

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It was clean and we have everything we needed. Communication was easy and owners were very helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast one morning sitting outside and soaking the lush surroundings and the sun on us. Nice touch to have a welcome treat waiting for us upon arrival. Hopefully, we can come back in the summer time!

Why they chose this property

Good living! Beautiful and peaceful. Private, 1/10 mile from nearest neighbor. Close to shopping and services yet unspoiled with development. Coastal places can still be found with no other people present. Wide sandy beaches, huge dramatic sand dunes, rugged cliffs with rock formations causing waves to shoot into the air, and peaceful bays, coves and estuaries. San Luis Obispo is a very nice town to be near with restaurants and many boutique stores. People friendly! Low crime.

Quiet, country setting on dead-end road. Oak trees, an old barn, privacy, many vineyards and horse ranches nearby. Deluxe apartment with 10' beam ceiling and many amenities. Full kitchen and comfortable queen bed. Near restaurants, beaches and wineries. Good walking along our quiet road. Many hiking trails nearby.
