Great Experience

The property is located in a great location on the Amalfi coast. Away from the hustle and bustle of more busier places. Quiet, great views, and located near great restaurants which the host Gioacchino points out. The host is brilliant. Arranges time well for check in through WhatsApp. Has a great welcome package and has great ideas on how to plan your trip.

Great stay!

Loved staying in Conca dei marini because it was away from the hustle and bustle of amalfi! Easy to use public transportation. Great host who was easily accessible and took time when we got there to explain how to use transit system and the local restaurants and shops that are attractions!

Amazing location, lovely home, best view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Conca Dei Marini (Amalfi Coast). Gioacchino welcomed us with open arms and educated us on all we needed to know about his village and the surrounding areas. The location is high in the mountain leading to the most precious views of the ocean and surrounding areas. We could even see Capri in the distance. Morning coffee on the patio was an awesome way to start each day. We had driven our car here. Gioacchino was gracious in finding us a place to park for the week. If you are not parking above the home, be prepared to take over 100 steps up or down to get to your car. Actually, we didn’t mind the exercise. Needed to work on our legs and gluts. ;) We were provided with all the amenities we needed. There was Wifi in the home, but it didn’t work on the patio. Cell signal is weak, but the Wifi made up for it. From the home, we did day trips to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, etc. Many great places to visit. And our place was central to all. There was a restaurant within walking distance called Le Bonta del Capo. We were there every day. The view from the patio was breathtaking and the food was fabulous. The menu was large with lots of great choices. Every dish was terrific and the prices were very reasonable. Loved this place. All in all, our week at Gioacchino’s abode was fabulous. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience in a magnificent part of the world.

Fantastic place with incredible view

This place was absolutely fantastic! It had the most amazing terrace and the most incredible view I have ever seen. Although a bit away from Amalfi, it was very nice to get away from all the tourists and crowded places in Positano and Amalfi. The host, Giocchino, was fantastic. He even called our cab driver to give instructions for finding the apartment. The apartment itself was very nice, extremely clean and with everything we could possible need. The host gave us great information at the arrival about everything we needed to know (such as transportation, stores, what we couldn't miss regarding the Amalfi coast etc), he also helped throughout our stay with for example helping us order taxi. Conca di Marini as a town was also very pretty. I would highly recommend this place- both in terms of the apartment, the host, the town and with the best view and terrace of the entire Amalfi, this is a 10/10!

All of Your Dreams Answered!!!

After spending four nights in Positano Conca Dei Marini was a welcomed change! Gone was the bustling nights and people exchanged for romantic strolls, a quick rain shower, and beautiful sunsets!! I can’t say enough about our accommodations or our host! If you like being pampered and having a having a life long local give you the run down on all of the history and provenance of the area stay here!! I mean it stay here!!!!

A magical time!

Conca Dei Marini is an absolute gem of a village (700 people) right between Amalfi and Positano. There is a market shop, and two main restaurants - everything is within walking distance. We ate at Nino’s 4 of the 5 nights we were in Amalfi. The location of the self catering unit is exceptional. The unit has recently been remodelled so everything is quite up to date. The kitchenette is best for making coffee and light meals. The terrace is the unit’s spectacular feature: it has loungers, an eating area and the large umbrella, all while overlooking the Mediterranean. As with everything in Amalfi, much stair climbing is involved - so any guests to this part of Italy - not just Conca dei Marini - would need to be aware of this! We found the unit on HomeAway and booked through them as well. The proprietor is Gioacchino Carbone and he was very accommodating, and responsive to any and all of our questions and requests. He uses WhatsApp to connect with his guests; we became very lost finding our way to the exact unit after our 7 hour drive, and he ’tracked us on Whats App, and, stood outside to flag us down! Such wonderful service! We hope to return!

Bella! Relaxing, lovely place, wonderful host and a breathtaking view!

This gem is centered in a wonderful location! Just between the town of Amalfi and Positano it offers easy access to both larger towns while providing the tranquility once back at your place. The view is beyond explanation, it literally takes your breath away! The apartment is lovely, newly renovated with a wonderful host that makes you feel like your stay and enjoyment is of upmost importance to him. He goes out of his way to make sure you know the best places to go and how to get around. The place is pristine and clean! The bed is very comfortable which is always important. The bathroom was so nice with a large shower, especially compared to some of the other VRBO’s that we rented in Florence and Rome. We ended our trip at this place and it was the perfect place to unwind after running around Rome, Florence, and Venice. The pictures are truly what you get so no fake portrayal there! Thank you Gioacchino!

Beautiful Stay in Conca Dei Marini

Our number one goal was to ride road bicycles along the Amalfi Coast and Gioacchino's place was perfect. It's very beautifully decorated and the view from the terrace was fantastic. It is a sparkling clean and comfortable space. My husband and I were traveling with a friend so it was very nice to have a door separating the bedrooms and another door separating the bathroom so if you have to go in the middle of the night, you will not disturb the other person(s). The kitchen was well equipped too. The towns of Amalfi, Praiano and Positano are all easily accessible by car, bicycle or bus. Since the coast is on a cliff-side, be prepared to climb. On a bicycle it was not too bad, walking is a little more difficult. The space itself has an access point from above with about 15 steps. Gioacchino was nice enough to carry my luggage for me both ways. He was also very informative on what to see and do in the area providing maps and brochures. And, he was readily available if we needed anything. The supermarket is just a 5-7 minute walk away. There is also a very good restaurant right next to the supermarket and we had the most amazing dinner there. It is a quiet village which turns out to be a nice respite from the extremely bustling Positano. And, may I also add that the space is safe and secure. Gioacchino even gave us a lovely gift on our departure.

Beautiful appartment with a wonderful view and amazing hosts

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Maria and Gioacchino's property in Conca dei Marini. The small town has breathtaking views and incredibly friendly locals. Gioacchino offered to pick us up from our bus stop to give us a quick but extremely informative tour of Conca dei Marini before heading to the appartment. Once arriving at the apartment, we were stunned at the beauty we saw, both inside and outside. The apartment itself is well renovated and has an amazing terrace with an extensive view of the coast and water. Gioacchino took the time to suggest many possible sights we could see in Conca dei Marini and the surrounding cities, helping is maximize our time there. When our departure time arrived, he offered to drive us to a nearby city to help with our travels. We cannot thank him enough for his help. The restaurants, shops, beaches, and sights of Conca dei Marini were some of the brightest highlights of my trip. I am very happy I was able to see the beauty of the town and the people who live there, and I definitely hope to stay at Maria & Gioacchino's property again.

Amazing Views - Small town of Conca dei Marini

Great little apartment - newly renovated. The patio area is very nice and relaxing. The owner was very helpful in recommending thing to do. Speaks English. Conca dei Marini is a smaller town in the Amalfi coast. Great cliff side views. You need to bus to Amalfi, Positano, or any of the other larger coastal towns. Lot of walking/steps, but if you time it right, you can use the town bus. The only small downside is that you can hear people in the apartment next door. But I think he planned on adding something to reduce the noise travel. There was a place to park our car - we recommend staying here.

Superbe appartement avec vue magnifique

Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire sur la côte d'Amalfie. Gioacchino, le propriétaire de cet appartement est très accueillant, disponible et toujours prêt à nous aider pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréables. L'appartement est impeccable et très confortable. En plus il bénéficie d'une location exceptionnelle entre Amalfie et Positano. Il est muni d'une grande terrasse avec vue imprenable sur la mer et Conca Dei Marini. Nous avons également apprécié le stationnement à quelques pas de l'appartement et sans frais. Nous recommandons sincèrement ce petit appartement, niché sur les rochers de la magnifique côte amalfitaine, dans un village des plus charmants, celui de Conca Dei Marini.
