About this property

Seabreeze is a delightful holiday bungalow situated on the 37 acre Linstone Chine Holiday Village comfortably sleeping four people and has proudly achieved a "Certificate of Excellence" Award on Trip Advisor. Its location in the quiet back row of the flat Brambles Chine section provides unobstructed views across a large playing field to the sea, allowing children to play within view while you relax in the sun. Facing due south the sunsets are spectacular. A short walk will bring you to Colwell Bay, a wonderful sandy beach with beach cafes, shops and the famous "Hut" restaurant.
Unlike most properties on Brambles Chine which were built in the 1970s, Seabreeze. stands out as a larger, far newer design, being built in 2007 to a higher specification, and it's also unique as there are no properties built directly in front or to the rear and as such enjoys a higher degree of privacy.
Seabreeze consists of an open plan lounge / dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one with a 4ft 6" double bed and the second with twin 3ft beds and this room also has its own washbasin. Both bedrooms have their own patio doors which lead out to a secluded rear patio and garden. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for a small supplement.
If you prefer not to use your car, there is a regular bus service a short walk from the site which you can use to travel around the island.
For your added convenience there is a coin operated launderette on the site.
Freshwater village is within a few minutes drive away where there are a variety of shops, banks, library, pub, supermarkets and a Leisure Centre which has an indoor heated swimming pool. Horse riding is nearby and also a golf course.
There is a children's play area across the field with new play equipment for the 2019 season. There's also crazy golf, 9 hole pitch and putt, grass tennis court and a football pitch for children.
The property is ideal for couples and also families and is set in an ideal location to explore the island.

Sea Breeze

The property is lovely with a sea view. The property was well equipped with two bedrooms, bathroom and open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Gloria, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. It was comfortable, quiet and tranquil. We loved it. Thank you Gloria for a fabulous break.

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only problem was we had to drive everywhere. Having difficulty walking, it was too far from for me to walk to the bus stop. The area was beautiful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other people.

Nice Chalet

Was clean and well furnished. Also outdoor seating/table and rotary drier. Decent size for a family of 4. Views across field to the sea. A quiet site with lots to do for kids - crazy golf, putting, football, play area etc.

Although we live by the sea in West Sussex we love holidays on the Isle of Wight and holiday there ourselves several times a year. We always return from the island feeling refreshed and relaxed with lots of wonderful, happy memories, and always look forward to our next visit to the island. We have been going to the island for many years now and it feels like our second home.

Why they chose this property

Seabreeze is in a fantastic, quiet location which is not overlooked and has wonderful sea views and is only a short stroll to the beach. It's great if you have children as you can sit outside and watch them play but equally great and quiet for couples.
Fantastic sunsets can be enjoyed from the bungalow.

Interesting coastal walks can be enjoyed starting from the bungalow, but if you're more into sunbathing then why not take a leisurely stroll across the field to the beautiful Colwell Bay beach where there are deck chairs for hire, beach shops and cafes and the famous "The Hut" restaurant. There is also a fabulous new restaurant at Colwell Bay called The Bay Cafe. It incorporates a restaurant with great views of the Solent, dining on the pier and another restaurant is being built at the end of the pier. Freshwater offers guests a wonderful holiday experience in a quieter, more relaxing part of the island.
