Located 700 meters from the sandy beach of Baia Santa Margherita, one of the most beautiful beaches in western Sicily. The beach can be reached on foot via a dirt path or by car (1 minute) with free parking in front of the beach with a free train service that will allow you to get around the coast and the various beaches.
On each floor there is a veranda overlooking the gulf of Monte Cofano. Possibility to have lunch and dinner on the veranda while admiring one of the most beautiful sunsets in western Sicily.

Wonderful garden and pool

We were two families visiting Sicily. The five bedrooms and multiple bathrooms were very convenient. The place was sparkly clean. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed a swim in the morning before leaving and in the evening before going to bed. The air conditioning was available in each room, but we did not need it as the wind from the sea kept us comfortable during the night. The gardens are a marvel with So many flowers and colors. The owners were very available and showed us around, they even came one evening for a sunset walk in a nearby village. Overall our stay was wonderful and calm. The nearness to the airport was a plus for us and we did not mind the planes. We had two cars and were able to park in a locked parking, which made us feel very safe. The house is really near the main highway to go for any activities that you want to take on. We loved our stay at this house and would recommend it without hesitation. Oh I forgot, there is an outside kitchen, and we ate outside every evening.

a wonderful week in a place of truly special natural beauty

a very comfortable place to stay: modern, clean and well equipped. Dramatic sunsets every night of our stay overlooking the Mediterranean to our west. Hostess Antonella and her dad readily available for questions and assistance. Useful information re: dining, points of interest and several books on Sicilian culture and cuisine available in the house Location is ideal for the local beaches in Macari, the super beach, shopping and restaurants in San Vito lo capo and a reasonable drive to other western Sicily places of interest such as Trapani, Erice and Marsala. But, most important to us was the access to the Zingaro and Monte Cofano Nature Reserves. Unbelievable views and hiking options from flat oceanside walks to strenuous climbs. Strongly encourage visitors to sample both parks.

soggiorno meraviglioso!!

Antonella e suo padre sono stati due host impeccabili! Ottima accoglienza, disponibilità assoluta prima, durante e post il soggiorno. Abitazione meravigliosa dotata di tutto il necessario. In una posizione strategica per raggiungere San Vito lo Capo ma anche la splendida spiaggia di Macari. Da non tralasciare la vista sul mare dai terrazzi, adatti per godere dei favolosi tramonti e/o colazioni al profumo di mare. è stato tutto davvero perfetto. Ancora Grazie ad Antonella e Sig. Nino!

Schöne Unterkunft, schöner Sandstrand, hilfsbereite und freundliche Vermieter! Kommen gerne wieder!

Umgebung: Der Sandstrand ist zu Fuß erreichbar, sehr sauber und wird jeden Morgen geebnet. Das Meer ist wunderbar klar und man kann bis zum Boden sehen. Auch das Wasser ist, abgesehen von den wenigen angeschwemmten Algen, sauber. Am Strand gibt es ein umgebautes Wohnmobil, dass die Gäste mit Essen, Kaltgetränken oder auch Eis versorgt. Die Preise sind human. Wir waren auch ein Mal am Strand in San Vito lo Capo, der als schönster Strand der Insel beworben wird. Der Strand ist zweifellos schön, jedoch nicht anders als der vor der Haustür. Zudem ist dort deutlich mehr los und es ist absolut touristisch, sprich viele Läden und Restaurants, Eisdielen, Souvenirshops, Strandverkäufer, etc. Eine sehr laute Umgebung und eine Distanz zum Nächsten kennen die meisten dort nicht, da die Liegeflächen knapp sind und die Entfernung zum Meer für manche scheinbar nicht mehr als 10 m betragen darf. Also wir waren dort nur ein Mal und haben alle anderen Tage an unserem Strand "Santa Margeritha" verbracht. Es gibt einen fahrenden Bäcker. Das war gerade in den ersten Tagen super. Teilweise kam dieser dann nicht mehr gegen 9.00 Uhr, sondern erst gegen 10.00 Uhr, einmal auch erst gegen 10.30 Uhr. Zu dieser Uhrzeit waren wir dann mit dem Frühstück allerdings schon fertig. :-/ Es gibt einen Bäcker in der Nähe vom SISA-Einkaufsmarkt in San Vito - der war deutlich günstiger und man bekommt hier auch mehr "Land und Leute" mit. Hat mir besser gefallen. Aber wenn man bequem sein möchte, dann tut es auch der "fahrende Bäcker". Restaurant: Alfredo - wird auch auf der Homepage vorgeschlagen. Ist ein tolles Restaurant. Es gibt dort hervorragenden Fisch und auch Fleisch. Allerdings keine Pizza! Das war zwar der Grund, weshalb wir dorthin fuhren, sind dann aber trotzdem zum Essen geblieben, weil die Besitzer sehr nett waren. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit einem sehr guten Essen! Unterkunft: Das Haus ist toll. Wir waren zu acht und konnten uns in den vier Schlafzimmern gut aufteilen. Zwei Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage, zwei Zimmer einen Ventilator. Die Zimmer mit der Klima waren fantastisch. Das Zimmer im Keller mit dem Ventilator war noch auszuhalten; das Zimmer mit dem Ventilator im 1. OG war jedoch kaum erträglich. Dafür sind die Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit. Egal ob es eine Frage zur Einkaufmöglichkeit (steht auch auf der Homepage ;-)) oder zu einem Ausflugsziel war. Der Handtuchwechsel war überhaupt kein Thema. Die Kommunikation über Whatsapp war angenehm und schnell.
