About this property

Pine Tree - 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, Secluded Hot tub and Pet friendly

Pine Tree sits within the Otterburn Hall Estate in the Northumberland National Park. The Lodge is a perfect location to relax and unwind after a day exploring the surrounding area. Sit back and relax on the large south facing decked area which is a sun trap on sunny days and perfect place to watch the stars on a clear night from the secluded hot tub.

Set within the five-hundred-acre estate you are surrounded by natural beauty and plenty of wildlife. Watch out for the deer and very cheeky red squirrels who will happily come and sit on the decking if there are monkey nuts on the go!

Local attractions include Kielder Forest and observatory, Wallington, Cragside and Alnwick Castle and Garden. The market towns of Rothbury, Morpeth, Alnwick and Hexham are also within easy reach.

There is a restaurant on site called The Coach House who as well as serving First Class food on an evening also offer a 'Brunch' menu and a takeaway menu (including a takeaway breakfast menu!). The Coach House is open Wednesday - Sunday.

Otterburn village is approximately one mile away, for places to eat you will find the William De Percy, Le Petit Chateaux and the Otterburn Mill (only serves food through the day) all serve lovely food and are dog friendly.

The local shop in the village sells most items you would need if you forget anything or need to restock but for anything else the nearest town is Bellingham which is a twenty-minute drive over the hills from the Lodge.

Amazing
Amazing, we stayed here back in may with kids and our dog, enjoyed it so much we came back with just the 2 of us 2nd Dec with our dog again. Really cosy place clean and welcoming. We also ordered a Sainsbury’s for our arrival. Nice to know they deliver right to our lodge. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Nice and relaxing and rural.

Cabintastic
Well equipped and nicely decorated. Quite and remote (great if that’s what you are after). Decent size living area, compact bedrooms but big enough. Hot tub was checked regularly Would definitely recommend. William de Percy = nice restaurant. Coach house restaurant let us down, we’d booked but they hadn’t noted it down so ended up having to go somewhere else.

Relax
Loved this gorgeous lodge, by far the best lodge we have stayed in. Furnishings really good quality, kitchen gorgeous, lighting gorgeous, rooms gorgeous. Hot tub really accessible the way it was set into decking.. TV and wi fi good. 2bathrooms was a plus, although shower went hot and cold when it pleased. Very remote which was lovely but did need a car, unless you walk a lot ( I have a mobility issue). Coffee machine available with biscuits was a real treat. Only one thing would improve this place would be milk/water in fridge on arrival
