In the picturesque Catalan village of Laroque des Albères, nestled at the foot of the Albères mountains and bustling all year round, discover the enchantment of 'Casabaleares'. This elegant residence warmly welcomes you, offering a maximum capacity of 12/13 people, spread across 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, complete with 5 toilets. Boasting an interior of great comfort, including brand-new furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace for winter evenings, and even a billiards room... all complemented by an expansive swimming pool measuring 4m x 8m, with a depth of 2m, secured by an approved alarm system.

The house is ideally located in a peaceful residential area, just a stone's throw from the village center. It is listed with the seasonal rental services of the Tourist Office of the charming village of Laroque des Albères.

Amenities include:

A master suite upstairs, with its own bathroom equipped with a bathtub, shower, basin, and WC, accompanied by a bed measuring 160x200.
On the ground floor: three bedrooms, two with beds measuring 160x200 and one with three twin beds measuring 90x190, along with a bathroom equipped with a bathtub, shower, vanity unit, and WC. Additionally, a second bathroom offers a shower, basin, and WC.
An independent air-conditioned suite, in an annex of the main residence near the pool, featuring a bathroom with a shower, basin, and WC, along with a double bed measuring 160x200.
A beautiful kitchen with new appliances, including an oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher.
A spacious living area comprising a lounge with a fireplace and a dining room, equipped with a flat-screen TV and wifi.
Outside, extensive terraces with garden furniture surround the pool, along with a gas barbecue and multiple garden tables. The spacious grounds even offer the opportunity to play football while awaiting the renovation of the clay tennis court.

Access to the house is secured by an electric sliding gate and video intercom, ensuring a serene entrance. Parking space is available on the property to accommodate several cars.

Maison tres spacieuse et agréable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la villa qui est spacieuse. La piscine est grande et très agréable. La petite maison séparée à côté de la maison est très pratique avec des ados. Nous avons en revanche trouvé qu il n’y avait pas suffisamment de verres et avons dû en acheter quelques uns en plus.

A great week in Laroque-Des-Alberes

The house is ideal for big families. There were 10 of us: two families with 2 parents and 2 children each, plus 2 grandparents. The children were aged 4-8. The grandparents took the main bedroom upstairs, one family stayed downstairs in the main house (3 rooms with 2 double beds and 3x single beds) and the other family stayed in the “pool house” (2 double beds and also conditioning. The pool house has air con and the main house doesn’t. However the main house is designed with shutters and lots of windows / balconies, so you can shut out the heat and also open doors / windows not in the sun to get a breeze. This worked well for us. We found the indoor space plentiful, with loads of space for us all and big comfy chairs. We could connect our devices to the new TV using apple airplay or logging straight into Netflix, so the kids could watch movies in the evening. The pool is excellent. Really clean (pool cleaner came twice during our stay) and critical when the temperatures are high. The temperatures were mid to high 30s when we were there, so we regularly had a dip to cool off. The kids loved the pool. If you have young kids who cannot swim, we’d recommend floating aids, as the steps are the only shallow area. The local village is stunning, a 10-15 minute walk through the campsite. Great bars and restaurants. Plus all the usual amenities. Nick and Alex were great hosts. Providing extra shade when we asked them and also giving lots of recommendations about good things to do in the area. A couple of positive additions which we hadn’t expected were in the recently added a bar area with a gas bbq. There is also a disused tennis court at the back of the garden. A great place for the kids to play football, hide and seek and tag. We bought some beach bars and balls and played some mini tennis… All in all a great trip and great house a family holiday, near the beach and near the pyrenees.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison possède des chambres spacieuses , salles de bain et toilettes idéales pour accueillir les 3 familles dont nous étions composées. Chacun à son espace, la piscine est très bien quoique un peu froide. Quelques "bricoles" seraient nécessaires comme certaines finitions (escalier de la pool house, stores occultants manquants dans la pool house et la suite de l'étage, prises mal fixées...) Cela nous nous a pas empêché de passer d'agréables vacances. Bon rapport qualité/prix 🙂

Conforme à l'annonce.

Beaucoup de défauts dans la maison et ménage passable. Terrain vague devant la piscine dommage (futur terrain de tennis). Néanmoins Villa très grande avec de beaux volumes idéal pour 2 familles et bien situé. Très bon contact avec la personne en charge de la villa.
