Small mountain barn perched at an altitude of 1320 m on the south side of the Pic d'Ayré, halfway between Luz St-Sauveur and Barèges (Col du Tourmalet road).
Served by a small road, it offers a breathtaking view of the Ardiden massif. Located at the door of the Natural Reserve of Néouvielle, it will be the ideal starting point for all your hikes ...
You will put your suitcases, your worries and during these few days you will let yourself be transported by nature:
-by the calm and the murmur of the Bolou brook
-by the pure air of the breeze caressing the Pic d'Ayré
-the fragrance of the thousand flowers that still brighten the meadows
-by the colors of the sunrise on the Ardiden in flame
and finally by the bells in the distance, which echo the hours with the steeples of the villages of Sers and Betpouey.
It is here, so high perched that we dominate the world, that everything seems futile; it is in this natural setting that the expression "gaining height" has all its meaning.
