About this property

Chambre Celine is a large bedroom situated on the first floor at Villa Celine that overlooks the garden and swimming pool. It is equipped with a king-size bed and has it's own modern, private bathroom. This room features lots of original features including the original marble fireplace, an original cast iron fireplace and original plasterwork. The bedroom is also furnished with period antiquities.

We are Dawn & Andy an English couple who fell in love with Villa Celine five years ago. After an extensive renovation that lasted eighteen months, we opened as a Bed & Breakfast in 2016.

We live at the property and are on hand to provide you with breakfast and help your vacation at Villa Celine to run smoothly.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the house as soon as we saw it and hope that you will do the same. The house is a replica of another situated in the ninth district of Paris, it's original owner Celine Anna Peron would only move to Saint Laurent-de-la-Cabrerisse, if her new husband Adrien Jourdet, would build a replica of her Parisienne home, in the village. This he did, now that is devotion!

What makes this property unique

Before we purchased the house in 2014, nobody have lived in it permanently since 1929. That meant lots of original features remained in the house for us to renovate and clean. We then built modern, practical bathrooms for each of the four guest bedrooms and furnished each bedroom with period French furniture.

We hope that we have combined elegant period living with modern comfort.

We installed an outdoor swimming pool and landscaped the private walled garden. The garden also provides free and secure parking for up to five cars, or eight motor bikes and eight bicycles.
