Beautifully restored barn in lovely Northamptonshire Village
We have lovingly restored our stone barn to an exceptionally high standard, retaining original beams and using oak flooring, marble worktops, Fired Earth bathroom, quality bedding, under floor heating, wood burning stove and a Mercury cooker. The Barn is an annex, situated opposite our 18th century cottage. It's a very peaceful location with nice walks from Orlingbury to nearby villages. It's centrally located and close to the towns of Kettering, Northampton and Wellingborough.

The barn was beautifully restored and full of interesting features. Comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need and extra generous touches. The hosts lived opposite and were frienldy and helpful.
We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights. We booked it as we had a wedding to attend in Pitsford, so the location was perfect.
The cottage was absolutely lovely, and I would definitely recommend it to others. It is an area we would like to return to and wouldn't hesitate to book the cottage sgdon.
Nicki and Ian made us feel very welcome.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owners, super friendly and helpful. The holiday let looks beautiful, you can see that it has been decorated with attention and you immediately feel at home. It is located in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful time and unfortunately the days were too short because we had to go home after our tour.
We received plenty of good advice and went to the open-air theater, which is highly recommended if you are here.
Thanks again and we look forward to coming back.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Gastgeber spielt und singt in einer Rockband. Wir hatten das große Glück ihn Live im Pub erleben zu dürfen. Vielen Dank.
An excellent property that exceeded our expectations; very friendly hosts and no question unanswered or query unresolved. There were many additional kindnesses freely offered that enhanced our stay. Three days wasn't long enough!
We will definitely be coming back.
Many thanks, Nicki & Ian.
We had a spectacular break staying in Nicki & Ian’s converted barn. The television in the living room is truly massive and facilitated lovely evenings watching Netflix. The log burning fire in the living room was a top feature for us being not only beautiful but incredibly warming across the whole home. The kitchen and bathroom are lovely, spacious and had all we needed including towels, washing liquid, bin bags etc. The underfloor heating throughout kept us super warm and toasty through a few cold evenings too. Nicki was a great hostess and had a very warm welcome ready for us on arrival, with a fire ready for lighting, cookies on the counter and some milk and eggs in the fridge, along with some bread in the freezer - What a lovely touch, it felt more like visiting a well equipped, homely hotel with everything that was thought of for our stay. Would definitely recommend visiting for a relaxing and peaceful break with very local amenities and eateries within a close driving distance.
Nikki and Ian live in the main house opposite the barn and were great hosts. The accomodation was very well equipped. We enjoyed a number of lovely walks in surrounding countryside.
A lovely stay, a great experience for us to spend time together in the countryside. Location is perfect - convenient access to both Kettering and Northampton as well as lots of countryside walks and attractions.
The property was super clean, got everything we need, full of character - we were particularly surprised by the lovely Christmas tree and all the Christmas decorations etc.
The hosts were so friendly and tried to make things convenient for us, we truly appreciate it. Xx
